So what? They gain the nomination to the Party. The opportunity matters most. Furthermore, Gore was a close call, as you know.

Multiple runs is one of many potential reasons why a candidate does not win, and those are more important.

Hardly forgot Mitt. I was giving some examples out of many.

That's fine, but let's not pretend it is primarily because of the loser during the primary or general election issue. That's been something rather contentious since the beginning of our election process. Even though the set-up was different, Jefferson did lose out to Adams, and Adams lost out to Washington, Andrew Jackson lost out to John Quincy Adams; and more recently George H.W. Bush lost to Reagan.

And again, if she is nominated, Benghazi will haunt her. I trust her primary opponents will use it as well.

She shouldn't win. If she does she'll screw up the country ALMOST as bad as Obama is doing. She's a flaming liar and a spiritual slug who has thrown God and his Word under the bus with her pro-gay nonsense, her support for infanticide abortions, and her support for the left-wing's covetousness and greedy redistribution of wealth scheme. That on top of her ignorance in supporting ObummerCare and her pathetic decisions relating to our murdered personnel in Benghazi. The woman is as corrupt as the day is long.

    Yes.

When she became SoS, I thought she would actually do a good job at that. Guess I was wrong.

Whether she does or doesn't, who ever wins the Democratic nomination will be the odds on favorite to win in the general. Mainly due to the huge advantage Democrats now hold in the Electoral College Map.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
