Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Is the plumber greedy? The cobbler? The market place exists to fullfill demand for products and services. That's pretty basic stuff.

Do you think the Billionaires behind the Progressive Machine you belong to reinvigorated the movement because of some altruistic desire for mankind?

Do you think George Soros, or Drummond Pike, or Peter Lewis have your best interests in mind when they feed you all the Progressive Propoganda you hang on to?

Yes. Making people provide for others is uncivil behavior.

The marketplace is an activity. Activities are based on motivations.
Why would I want to sell something if not for self interested financial gain?

That is really twisted immoral logic.
I believe you know that, but you are just trying to make a self interested point.

I think the most important argument against the current tax system is that a tax system that allows politicians to pander to a majority of voters (and thus win elections) by promising the masses more and more spending while only seeking tax increases on the top few percent results in an addiction to spending by both the pimps in office and the voters

when most voters do not get adequate feedback of the cost of government, the masses do not really care about reining in government spending

socialists always want to claim its immoral for those who can provide for themselves to not want to be forced to provide for those who are unable-or in many cases-unwilling-to provide for themselves when the real immorality is for politicians to buy the votes of their supporters with the money taken from others

That is the function of the market place in society, not the motivation.

Do you think that is what motivates the Walton family or the Koch brothers?

progressives never deal with the pandering angle. the left wins elections by promising people goodies paid for by other people. The left has absolutely no incentive to cut spending because that cuts their ability to win elections.
