Deal reached to avoid default and open government

    And

If any one has any better details on the bill, please link them.

So, with what we know now, did republicans or democrats get a better deal on the compromise?
sticking to the frame work of the OP which many seem not to want to do the Dems clearly won hands down, thats not even a question.

Now if we want to talk about if that win is temporary, what the win really means if it means anything at all, what happens in jan/feb etc well thats up for debate but this round goes to the dems by unanimous decision.

Do you they would include the fact that many of government employees laid off should be getting their jobs back in the math when counting unemployment?

it is no contest.. Democrats came out with everything they wanted and more.... the GOP got next to nothing.

I'm pretty sure unions got the concession on Obamacare they were after as well.

Democrats once again played hardball, didn't concede on anything, got everything they wanted.... and were successfully able to pin all the bad press on republicans
perfectly executed politics.... piss poor governance, but perfect politics.

You don't think increasing our debt without a plan to reduce it along with spending will hurt our economy?

The minority party likes to make an occasional wave. They think that it keeps them relevant.

They made no gains, but they made the news.

Like usual republicans fail at politics even when they are in the right. Go figure.
