PS. I'm of the opinion many if not most people who are against Obamacare are really just against Obama.
PPS. I don't like a lot of how the ACA is structured but its an improvement over 30 million people with no health coverage who inevitably will show up at the ER to get treated for free, the costs of which will be passed on to the insured at the most expensive place to get medical treatment and often after their condition has progressed where their quality of life has greatly diminished and the cost to treat them is through the roof.
I have a buddy who never had a job that offered insurance, working in outside sales. He probably hadn't had a regular doctor visit since his last high school physical in 12th grade. 15 years later he gets rushed to the ER (without insurance) after passing out. Turned out he had advance stages of type 2 diabetes that could have been easily and inexpensively treated if he had an affordable policy the HE paid the for that allowed him to see the doctor every year. Today he can no longer work, is 70% blind, has an amputated leg and lives at an assisted living home all at taxpayer expense.
