Nice try. But no. A tax for those purposes helps the country as a whole and everyone in it, so if those programs are enacted legally, all should pool their monies for the taxes. We don't get to pick and choose which wars we'll pay taxes for, which programs we'll pay taxes for, which people are worth our taxes and which are not. Many who support those things would gladly not pay taxes for it but feel free to sit back and benefit from it (moochers?). Our govt should prevent that from happening, since that owuld place a great burden on the remaining honest, hard working Americans.
