Is the Obama administration doing a good job in protecting us from terrorism?

I think what Obama has done and continues to do is building a world wide coalition while he and his A Team speak for the international community in a way that builds trust and breaks down barriers of division. A state sponsor of terror such as Iran, could very well change their intent with an administration of this caliber after robust negotiations and the entire world wide network of terrorists could lay down their arms and never think about attacking the US again...but only with the cleverness and intellect that an Obama administration can bring to the table.

I just don't think terrorism is a real threat any longer. Not to the United states anyway. They had their hit and it was 12 years ago. The terrorists woke a sleeping giant and were crushed because of it.
What do you call killing 12 GIs at Fort Hood. A tea party?

uh....yes it is....LOL....well if you want to be technical it is 8 months and 22 days....but basically 9 months. DOH!

And "Slick Willie" was president for the past 8 years prior to that.......lets see 8 months against 96 months.

An attack, but an isolated one. And i also call it stupid on the army's part. It was no mystery that that piece of garbage was an al Qaeda sympathizer. He used his position to attempt to get the soldiers he counciled tried as war criminals. I don't know why the army didn't see it coming.

Why are you lefties afraid to call it what it was? A terrorist attack not work place violence.

They've been posted, repeatedly.

He doesn't care. This is how Navy works.

He makes a false statement. We point it out. He repeats his false statement, we reference the older posts that show we already refuted him. He demands evidence of claims he's wrong and then ignores the twice referenced original rebuttals that are provided to him as proof he's wrong. He then stops posting about after a while only to repeat the same refuted claim a month or two later.

It's just how it always plays out. That's always how it's been since Whistlestopper in 2003. He was like that on 4forums. And he's like that here.

The thing is by his actions the Arabs think he is weak. They test him and he backs down. Because of him they think our country is a paper tiger. In all of our history we have never been viewed this way by any country,

Again, if we could just go back in time to 2003 when you were championing the Bush Doctrine. You remember? You know . . . that whole, "You're either with us or you're against us" stuff. Back when French Fries were "Freedom" Fries and damned what the rest of the world thought of us. Now you care how the rest of the world views us? Now you think our military is just a Paper Tiger? Yep, every time a drone goes boom in the Middle & Near East, the bad guys are thinking how weak we are . . . and that is somehow important.

Bush did not blame his bad decisions on Clinton like the Teflon man does to President Bush.

Why don't you two get a room?

Yeah, right.............why don't you quit while you are only losing by a little bit.

LOL is this some sort of joke? You asked for the attacks under Bush after 9/11; they were posted; you ignored them. Don't blame me because you can't (or won't) read.

A terrorist attack not work place violence.

That i can agree with. Whatever way anyone wants to spin it, Hasans actions were an act of Terrorism. There is absolutely no dispute about Hasan’s motives or affiliations. He was acting to aid the Taliban after admitting he corresponded with an Al Qaeda leader (Anwar Al-Awlaki).

Obama calls a terrorist attack workplace violence He calls the attack by Major Hussin that when he shooting Americans at Fort Hood and was screaming Allah Anbar as he was doing it.............He does not want to offend his brother Arabs.

Doesn't want to offend his brother Arabs? This comment is particulary ridiculous. Hasan has been sentenced to Death.

You want to talk about offensive? Tell me, what message does this send to the Arab world?
Life, no parole for Robert Bales who massacred 16 Afghans.
Nidal Hassan found guilty of 13 charges of murder; now faces death penalty.

Meanwhile Robert Bales gets to live, you know, the dude who murdered civillians, mostly women and children.

Both US Military men.

If you value all human life, both murderers would justly receive the death penalty.

When you go to a arab country and tell them we are not a Judo/Christian nation that should give you some type of idea where his loyalties lie. Do you also think what Hasan did was workplace violence? The man bows down to the Arabs.........They are not afraid of him.

If you value life, shouldn't they both get life in prison?

Do you also think what Hasan did was workplace violence?

Didn't i just cover that in my post to you that you have quoted here?

Refer post #120.

I'm an opponent of the Death penalty so my personal thoughts are obviously yes.
