Obama has the power to veto but the bill will not come to his desk as is because it will not pass the Senate. Even if it did, Congress could override the veto with a supermajority. So no president could cause a government shutdown.

There are 55 posts on this subject thread, but your post alone stands starkly out as the only one that seemingly intentionally shouts out anti-religious cursing. Unnecessary cursing that is inserted in such a manner even that it seems awkward and inappropriate for the original subject matter. The rules request at least a slim adherence to the subject matter of the OP and I for one would appreciate a more restrained posting demonstration of ability to follow the thoughts on the thread as opposed to some sort of non-related personal agenda.

The source is without substance, that was the point. Therefore (oh wonderful therefore!) the source was all there was to attack.

By what stretch of right wing logic is blaming Bush 'playing the race card'? I suggest this is another one of those catch phrases you picked up from Sewer Radio or Faux News, and having no clue what it meant, decided to use it anyway. In this case totally inappropriately.

Liberals are the only ones I ever see talking about Cruz. I really have no idea what he even looks like or who he represents or why leftists are so obsessed with him. I guess they need a new paper tiger to slay to avoid the realities that their guy is a quacky lame duck
