I totally agree.
When the Syrian civil/religious war comes to an end there will be no winners.
If Assad is left standing, even he in my opinion is a loser going down in history as yet another despot dictator who valued his ability to live a life of immeasurable luxury on the country's resources more than he valued the lives of tens of thousands of Syrian men, women and children.
Putin is a loser standing on the side of history that has backed a homicidal madman. When history books are written Putin will be listed among those of poor repute.
America is a loser because after decades of entanglement in the Middle East with horrific consequences many if not most Americans still think supporting the continued monopoly personal transportation fuel through who knows how many billions in military costs over the decades is the more cost effective to tax-payers than temporary electric car tax credits. OPEC is a free market institution. The best solution we can come up with is to pursue an energy agenda that insurers the highly volatile anti-American Middle-East will continue to have a global market for their valuable commodity and thus funding for terrorists who want to kill us and dedicators.
