Yes, the whole world is laughing
No, this has made America look strong not weak
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” ― George Bernard Shaw, Man and Superman
You see, for Obama he backed himself into a corner. He hesitated. So to keep himself from looking like the bafoon he is, he back peddled.
He calls for military strikes, no "boots on the ground", due to Syria's action being a threat to national security.
This way, he passes the Buck to Congress, doesn't call a special session....Oh no...we're going to wait until September 9th, when Congress reconvenes, to let them take a vote, after debating the issue.
Congress votes Yes, He's absolved himself and Kerry of jumping the gun...they vote no, he will wash his hands and say, "well, I tried"....again, absolving himself of making decisions a CIC should be making.
Tell me. If Syria's actions are a threat to our national security, then why the hesitation if what he wants is a limited strike? Seems to me, a small town farm girl, that if the U.S. was in danger, action should be immediate and swift. This leads me to believe there is more at play here. Methinks Obama's mouth is writing checks his ass can't cash.
He's an indecisive boob, and won't take the reigns as CIC.
I for one, think we have NO business in Syria...but apparently Obama thinks differently and chooses to pass the buck.
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice....shame on me.
If I stop responding it doesn't mean I've conceded the point or agree with you. It only means I've made my point and I don't mind you having the last word. Please wait a few minutes before "quoting" me. I often correct errors for a minute or two after I post before the final product is ready.
