Then you have the same issue I was debating earlier with the guy that wants everyone to flop around in the street dying.

Even if your a multi-millionaire or a member of the Walton family... If you had no ID and had your seizure, heart attack, accident, gun shot wound, etc and were unconscious...
They'd let you flop around in the street too. Clean you up once you started to smell.

Maybe you are too young to remember...
But we heard all this before in the late 80's under Clinton when he first made employers pay for insurance.
I was a part time stock boy at the time. And not long after this happened, I was promoted to full time and given insurance.

Boy, are you guys scared to death! DAM! Once the entire thing kicks in you're afraid that people will like and benefit much more from ACA than the lies you've been spreading ... and then there will be a price to pay ... go ahead, have another vote to rescind ... it only costs $2 million every time you vote ... when you get to 40 votes, that'll be $80 million ... Ted Cruz, the Senator from Canada, knows that time is running out and he's even willing to shut down the government because he knows what's coming ...

And I think it's you guys who have problems with math ... recently a conservative Republican said to me, "There are three kinds of people in the world: those who are good at math and those who are not." ...

How about spending close to $80 million taking meaningless votes, and taking the risk that people will like it when it kicks in completely (and see how you were lying), and not offering a viable alternative? Is that insane or what? ... but between you and me, the act, while better than what we had, should've been and could've been better and Obama, the Dems, and the GOP all share the blame ...

I just find it easier to say "it's worth it" than to try and explain that the CBO estimates do not factor in half of the equation. The savings that hospitals experience by everyone actually paying their bills will be an explosion. It can not be determined yet as to just how much of an impact this is going to have as it ripples through the system.
But anyhow, for a Nation that can spend nearly 700 Billion dollars bailing out bankers, I think we can spend 176 billion per year to save more American lives each year than we have lost in 2 decade long wars combined. When put into perspective, its a very small price to pay.
 
But more importantly, Cruz is Republican, which means it is not an issue.

Dems simply don't have that certain streak in them to intentionally screw the Nation as Repubs are now doing so they can get the "hALfrican American".
