Would you consider voting for Dr. Ben Carson for president in 2016?

Would you vote for Dr Ben Carson for president in 2016?

  • Total voters

sry navy boy this guy's claim to fame is just that he succinctly offered a clear headed alternative to Obamacare (one that would resolve the issue completely).
What this guy is good at is pediatric brain surgery
In fact when it comes to leading the free world, he's less qualified than Lt Col Alan West
and I wouldn't vote for him either. For the first time in my life, I didn't bother to vote in the last election
and see no need to ever vote again. Be advised you will never ever
be given a candidate that will stop or even slow this headlong rush towards totalitarianism we find ourselves on.

What you try and do is find a candidate that beliefs on the issues is close to yours regardless of the party he or she is attached to. You are never going to find one that agrees with you on every issue. I am a registered independent and vote that way. It works.

Trust me the caliber of Statesman that could lead us away from the precipice is not going to ride
to our rescue this time, we are going over and there's gonna be sudden stop at the end.

Elizabeth Johnson
Gary Johnson
Colin Powell
Russ Feingold

would vote - with confidence - for any of them

You do realize that if that is so it could be the end of this country as we know it?

I would not vote for any of those lefties...Some of them pretend to be moderates but they are not...Powell is the worse of all and I hate to say that about a veteran..

Believe as you like I don't really care. It might horrify you to know that I agree with you on most Fiscal Issues...We just differ on the social ones.

That's not true. Zyphlin has a history of not being friendly to expansions of the entitlement state. You, between Whistlestopper, 4Forums and here have made it perfectly clear you are very much for the expansion of the entitlement state if you are the one benefiting. Not once in 10 years have I ever seen you argue against expansion of government programs that directly benefit you.

I don't recall Zyphlin ever being in favor of Medicare D which was an elderly/big drug give away, but you championed that at Whistlestopper.

As for taxes, Zyphlin is in favor of responsible taxation which does include, at times raising taxes. You have always been for lower taxes which is funny since you said you don't agree with Obama on anything despite him lowering taxes.

I don't see anything in common between you two other than your mutual dislike of Obama.

Doesn't he think the world is only a few thousand years old?

Judging be the results of the poll so far it looks like the far left is in the lead against Conservatives....Since the far left posters out number the conservatives in the forum it does not come as a big surprise.

How is it far left to be against a guy who has absolutely no understanding of commodities markets? He thinks a new fuel source will magically arise and that somehow America will be completely isolated from the oil market. At least Obama understands the basics of the energy problem in America. Carson is out to permanent lunch,

Guy is naive at best, delusional at worst.

No, you don't - you love to say it. It's because you live in cloud cuckoo land, where every veteran is a foaming at the mouth right wing extremist - and Powell clearly is not. Nor are a whole lot of the rest of us veterans. Deal with it.

Doesn't he think the world is only a few thousand years old?

Yup. He's an idiot, just like the majority of his supporters.

There was a Wall Street Journal opinion piece not too long ago that really praised Dr. Carlson.
His religious beliefs are of no concern to me. His fiscal policies however do matter. And what I have read, looks good.

He recognizes the complete failures of Johnson's Great Society. He's a survivor of it. The man is quite a success story.

So far what I have discovered about his ideas on policy....

Fiscal responsibility operating under a balanced budget
A fair tax system, flat tax
Free market health care
Strong education system that awards one for their accomplishments, and stops making excuses for those who don't.
End social justice and spread the wealth which promotes victimization rather than personal responsibility.
He certainly isn't Political Correct and that's a plus in my book. What I've read I like but haven't seen anything that even hints he's considering a run.

Don't you worry your petty lil heads
they will run you a right good rino to lose the election for ya
and you can take that to the bank

Yeah. If only they realized how popular foaming at the mouth hard line right wing wackjobs are with the American people, they'd win every election.

The man at a prayer breakfast with Obama sitting right next to him him rebuking his insane policies as he spoke shows a hell of a lot of courage to me....If he runs I will definitely give him consideration.

Yeah. If only they realized how popular foaming at the mouth hard line right wing wackjobs are with the American people, they'd win every election.

Hate hate hate is all you got my left wing friend.

Never heard of him. Sounds like he's got some pretty good credentials.

Benjamin Solomon "Ben" Carson, Sr., (born September 18, 1951) is a retired American neurosurgeon. Among other surgical innovations, Carson did pioneering work on the successful separation of conjoined twins joined at the head. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States, by President George W. Bush in 2008. After delivering a widely publicized speech at the February 2013 National Prayer Breakfast, he became a popular figure in conservative media for his views on social issues and the government's role in the health care industry.

He might be worth looking into. Is he running for president?

Stop the presses. I read more on the guy. He's African-American. Too conservative for the democrats to vote for and too black for the republicans to elect him.

Oh well....
