Would you consider voting for Dr. Ben Carson for president in 2016?

Hey look NP, I am doing your work for you: Ben Carson on the Issues

LOL

Ben Carson on Civil Rights: "experienced racism in inner-city Boston and Detroit"

Ben Carson on Corporations: "Tithing teaches about not hoarding as capitalist greed"

Ben Carson on Education: "As child, mother required written book reports."

Well, you gotta give it to the man, he knows how to take a firm stand on the issues.

Dr. Carson is going to have a mighty hard time winning because he's not going to be on the ballot.

The GOP will run some other, better known, loser who will get his backside handed to him just like Romney ended up.

Don't take my word for it, wait and see.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

Doesn't matter to me one way or the other, if he was their man, he wouldn't get my vote. I want them to run someone better, but even more, I want the neo-cons to fall apart entirely and stop being neo-Democratic fundamentalist retards. Then maybe they can field a candidate I can support.

Would you vote for him for president....Why or why not?

Based on what Redress posted about his position on various issues, I agree with slightly more of his positions than I disagree with. But in the end I wouldn't vote for him because he's unqualified for the job.

After voting in eight presidential elections (I didn't see any difference between the candidates in 2012 so I didn't bother going)
I'm never voting ever again, there's no point in it. You should know this when you debate this crap "and knowing is half the battle"

did you read Obama's law review article(s)? I read my son's but I could locate Barry's
hah my kid pointed out you've no right to privacy on the internet when you send communications through a 3rd party,
this was long before the NSA thing broke

Huh??

Thank all of you for illustrating what is wrong with this country.
How dare us question the government or Dear Leader ????
Thinking this country should be an elitist ran authoritarian dictatorship is what is wrong with this country (none in the examples you cited) and the reason I do not want another administration in power that will be business as usual. The problems in this country are created and maintained by those that blindly defend their party no matter what and engage in partisan bickering rather than face and fix whats wrong instead of looking for that sound bite that gets them reelected.

That's really it. At first I was going to research this guy, but then I decided that all I really needed to do was read the opinion of a liberal. The stronger the hate, the more I like the guy.

Way to react rather than employ critical thinking.

What the hell are you talking about? Nothing you said had anything to do with anything I have said, ever.

who is Ben Carson? sounds like an old TV show

Judging be the results of the poll so far it looks like the far left is in the lead against Conservatives....Since the far left posters out number the conservatives in the forum it does not come as a big surprise.

Provide a link if you want people to look.

Nah they are well known just watch a few of his speeches especially at the prayer breakfast. That will tell you all you need to know.

Horribly inexperienced, can find little actual useful information about his views regarding actual significant governmental issues, and pretty much just parrots stereotypical hyper social conservative views that promote big government...on what little I've been able to turn up on him, not a chance unless the other candidate was somehow even worse

You want to learn about him, watch his speeches.........The man is a true Conservative regardless how Redress try to paint him.

Ben Carson was my commencement speaker and I do find him to be quite an impressive man. As someone interested in pursuing a career in neurosurgery, I have a great deal of respect for the work Carson has done. He is open, honest and candid, and I think it would be great if he could put those traits to use in a career as a politician. However, I honestly cannot see myself supporting Carson as a politician because his positions on social issues are far too conservative for my taste. For being such an accomplished physician, I find that he has an appalling lack of compassion for people.

He has compassion for a baby in the womb.

He has compassion for a baby in the womb
and the kind of evil thinking disqualifies him for elected office!
