he seems rather incompetent and has no issues being rather blatant with his falsehoods to the public. This makes it rather difficult to have any remote sense of trust in the guy, even at the limited level I grant most politicians.

I don't know what he would do about my city, but he has some okay ideas for NYC from reading his website. Given his extra-curricular interests, I'm really not sure if I could take him seriously enough to vote for him, though. Depends on who the other candidates would be.

When you have your wife, you have your first child with the (supposed?) woman of your dreams (obviously not in his case), and you're doing this stuff, THAT is completely beyond the most extreme pale out there.


If NYC elects him they will never live down not just the US shame but the international shame of our greatest City being run by a petty sexual loose cannon.

This man has proven that he has very poor judgement on several occasions and he seems unable to keep his private parts private ;)

People like that cannot be trusted to be mayor.

Is it really so hard to read? For God's sake, I even put the keyword in all capital letters.

The fact is his personal struggles with sex are A) irrelevant to anyone but his family and B) have nothing to do with the job a man can do. Would he be good at the job of mayor of my city? As I said, I do not know enough about him to say. But his sex struggles have nothing to do with his job competency. If I felt I could trust him to do the job appropriately, I'd have no problem voting for him.

No, but the level of competency and constant lying in the process of dealing with that scandal certainly speaks to his potential to perform such a job. You simply choosing to ignore that really doesn't change anything
 
I'd love Spitzer to run my city. Weiner though...he's a publicity hound. Before he became the guy yelling at Conservatives on the House Floor he was passing out flyers that his opponents where palling around with Jesse Jackson to paraphrase Palin.

At this point in time I would not vote for him. For the simple fact that I have no clue who he is much less what he's done or what his positions are.
 
I voted no, I don't like his policies and I would prefer someone of more upstanding character to lead my city.

But in other news I could not resist sharing this. After I voted the poll results took an interesting *cough phallus cough* shape that may be relevant :lol:

What exactly would he have to do to show you that he owes you less integrity than he owes his wife?
 
We need to stop electing douchebags people. What makes anybody think he would perform within the constraints of the office? Ever wonder why the country is so F'ed up these days? A big part of it is we keep electing celebrities instead of leaders. How about putting someone with integrity in office instead of guys who can't control themselves in their personal lives? This is not a reality TV show, it is an effort to find someone to do a delicate job. The sad part is that this guy is not really the problem. The REAL problem is the idiots who would elect him. Being a deviant who cheats on his wife should not be a resumee enhancer.
