The lack of respect some on the far right have for women as equal citizens is appalling.
While I did quote your post which caused me to post my thought, I never called you anything - let alone the word SEXIST which was not even used in my post.

It seems the Shakespeare line about protesting too much is a fitting one here. I wonder why you would be so hyper sensitive and take it so personally to a general statement made about the right and their attitude towards equal rights for women?

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

I just went outside and saw the slimiest wiggle worm I ever done seen. It was sniveling and cowering on the wet sidewalk.

I guess figuring you would man up and admit you overreacted was far far too much to expect from you.

He was so slimy, no one could grab him. My friends tried, but the mucous was undefeatable. At one point we thought there might only be slime, but then someone noticed, deep down in the goo was a most pathetic creature.

Like I said - I guess it was way way way too much to expect that you would man up and admit you over reacted.

It's pretty unbelievable that partisans have the balls to accuse anyone of bigotry.

Anyway, if you're done repeating yourself and spamming smilies, feel free to go back to explaining to everyone how evil the right is. My honest hope is that one day you will learn that people are people and every group has the same distribution of good and bad.

I would be more than willing to see the scientific proof of that statement should you be able to provide it.

    Re: Was This Acceptable?

Lets see if I understand this correctly. Based on an unsubstantiated rumor the Texas GOP ordered women to be searched and their tampons, snacks, water, etc to be confiscated. Does anyone know where this rumor came from or was it just made up be the Texas GOP? Did the LEOs record and give each women a receipt for their confiscated items?

What are they gonna do if they get a rumor on their meeting that someone might throw a gun, or knife of something elas a little more dangerous then a tampon?
I confess, I did it, I let the dogs out.

Understanding is the product of knowledge and perspective. I cannot give you understanding, except to say that I discovered what I've told you in my worldly travels.

This is the important stuff. We canít get lost in discrimination. We canít get lost in B.S. We canít get lost tearing each other down. I want to make a point here that no matter what you look like, where you come from, how you worship, who you love, how you identify, and yeah, how you run, that if you have good public policy ideas, if you are well qualified for office, bring those ideas to the table, because this is your America, too. This is our commonwealth of Virginia, too.
