There is a pretty big developmental gap between age 5 and age 17. Between Law & Order SVU and common sense I would think gender isn't much of an issue to someone molesting 5 year olds.

Also, I'm not sure if you can necessarily label a pedophile as homosexual, heterosexual, etc. I mean is a man homosexual because he likes to have sex with male zebras?

I would classify him as a "zoosexual", and hope that the court locks him up.

Because Merek is just not a homosexual activist with a leftist political agenda but is one of those white beard scratching liberals who just not changes the meanings of words to further a political agenda but also creates new words with new definitions the further his own radical political agenda.

I can't seem to find the article where Merek wants to change the definition of homophobia. Lets put it this way, Merek is just a radical gay leftist comparable to the hate monger Morris Dees.

My point was he's looking for a typical sexual designation to someone who clearly has very atypical sexual preferences.
 
One can be both gay/bi and a molester. Then again, one could also be hetero and a molester. Both types of molesters are equally disgusting.

None of which is evidence against what the source said, nor the results of the studies cited in the source.
 
They're gay as they're having gay sex and attracted to a male.


They are also a sick organism with deep emotional and mental issues. Honestly such types truly need to have their minds wiped because you cannot "fix" a biological mental disease in someone. You can drug them but that doesn't fix it, it treats it. Mentally sick people will always be mentally sick.

Medications simply subdue their symptoms and manic episodes, they do not fix them and cannot. You can always trigger someone with these mental diseases because they're never truly "fixed" even when on medication. That's why you cannot truly help a pedophile. It's a biological issue. The only way to truly "fix" them would be to wipe their mind or physically operate on them.

It is a complicated subject.

And it can't be "If someone" likes..yadda, yadda, yadda.

And you could actually change the word "man" to "woman" and "boys" to "girls". It's rare but it happens.

And men and women can be attracted to children of the opposite sex...and it still can be called something like "pedophile".

For the primary sexual interest in 11–14 year old pubescents...that's clinically known as Hebephilia. For mid-to-late adolescents (15–19), the clinical term is Ephebophilia.

The key element involved in any of these "PHILIAS" is...adults believing children to be their natural sex partners.

Paedophilia is a paraphilia, where sexual desire is directed at pre-pubescent children. Because of that, paedophiles are largely uninterested in the gender of their victim because the attraction is not directed at secondary sexual characteristics.

It is entirely possible for a paedophile to have and maintain adult heterosexual relationships while molesting children of the same sex. Paedophilia, as a paraphilia, is entirely separate from the paedophiles sexual orientation.

Already seen it first hand involving a teacher at a local high school who secretly saw a young boy from one of his classes, by law he was illegally molesting the boy. They live together now as partners.
 
As I've never known any paedophiles (thank god), the closest thing to a documentary I've seen is The Woodsman starring Kevin Bacon in his creepiest role ever. It features a child molester who focuses exclusively on little girls, and in a bizarre twist finds an adversary in another child molester who focuses exclusively on little boys. I have absolutely no idea how accurate the movie is with regards to paedophiles.

It's a good movie, but I do not suggest it for date night.

I really despise this topic, but the whole "gay pedophile/hetero pedophile" is very confusing. I might think that if a man molests little boys exclusively, he might be considered gay to some extent. Obviously, it is a genitalia preference of a penis over a vagina. I don't think anyone can really say for sure though, as you can't be inside someone else's head, and it's particularly tricky if the person has a mental defect to begin with.
