The Bush name will never draw in the hard-core liberal wingers and elites, but it will draw back much of the conservative middle and the independents who are mostly from the right.
I disagree. I'm a blue girl in a red state, and most of my friends are Republicans, and they are not interested at all in anything to do with a Bush being back in the White House. They all seem to like Christie at this point. Me? I would vote for Hillary, but I'd respect Christie with the Republican nomination. Would have to be better than McCain/Palin, or another 4 years of Bush (any Bush).

It's probable that we could end up with another race between a Bush and a Clinton.

Can we get Ross, or another Perot to join the reunion tour?

I think I will wait for the herd to thin first. I don't bother taking any of them seriously until the herd thins itself with "mispeak" and other similar nonsense.

That said, I know who I will not choose as a favorite. I won't vote for any candidate that has clowns fall out of their mouth when they speak. That's the easy part though. I would however consider Dennis Miller.

I hope to God that Cuomo doesn't run. I live in New York so I've seen first hand the horrible things he's done with the state

    Re: 2016 Election

Political realities aside, I would love to see a ticket with Christie and Clinton. I think they're the most capable candidates from both sides of the aisle, not to mention they're both devoted public servants.

I think VP would suit Christie more, based on his aggressive personality and style of politics, and I think Clinton would be suited for President, because I think she's more reasoned at times than Christie. It'd be perfect, a calm superior with a hard-pressing aggressive subordinate. Plus, Clinton leading the ticket is much more likely to actually win the election.

I really wish something like this would happen. I'd love a candidate who chose a VP from across the aisle, especially these two.

I'm not a US citizen, so I don't get to vote.
Also, it is still a bit early.
Of those listed I would feel good with Jeb Bush (but I think the chances for a new Bush as pretty slim) and Paul Ryan.
I have my doubts about Rubio, and pretty serious doubts about Christie.

    Re: 2016 Election

I'm most likely going to support Paul Ryan but if Marco Rubio or Chris Christie run I'd support them too. Voting for Hillary Clinton is a terrible idea, how is she going to control the country when she can't control Bill Clinton.

That's funny. Virtually all Ron Paul supporters were Democrats if Paul lost. It seems the same for Rand Paul.

My goodness, are we starting presidential cycles this early now, even before midterms? Midterms are more than a year away as it is.
