Of the potential candidates I'm aware of, I like Jon Huntsman the most and would actually vote for him instead of a third party candidate, which is saying a lot. But my general belief is that if I like a candidate, he's probably not going to have much of a chance to get past the primaries.

    Re: 2016 Election

Seriously, though ... as I'm not American, I usually only learn about the candidates once they're in the primaries.

Of course I know Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, and I have read a few things about Paul Ryan and Chris Christie. Not really much substantial about the latter two ... just remember I saw Christie on tv when there was that hurricane. He gave me the superficial impression that he seems like a nice guy and I gave him credit for ignoring party affiliation during the crisis.

If Rand Paul isn't the GOP choice I'll vote Hillary.

Surprised Rand Paul isn't on here, but he is definitely my pick.

Agreed. Unfortunately, its very unlikely the Cons would like Christie be the nominee. The Republicans really need to put up a conservative candidate. When that guy losses 40 states, then the Republican party will finally wake up to the recognition they have lost touch with the American electorate and reform.
