    Ah your a subservient wife.

Traditional wives would be busy doing wife work, but your here talking politics with strange men. That isn't a traditional wife.

Guess I never equated income to leadership, at least not within the confines of marriage defining.

I know many housewives that believe they are leaders of the family, and they don't make one red cent.

Of course, whether they are or not is up for debate. You can make yourself equal to your spouse in ways other than financially.

there are people who have no intention of marrying. and maybe for good reason if you are a woman.

I haven't seen recent studies, but research in the nineties suggested that marriage had negative impacts on women's mental health, while improving men's mental health.
Yes women always want to marry here. Being 30 is somewhat "late" here but still they manage to get married somehow. To increase credibility of the research that you state that you have read I propose that they should be carried out here also as well as be more up to date (i.e., cultural differences and being in ninety's).

Every married individual I know has gone to college first, that goes for the generation before me too for the most part except for the men. Some of them skipped the college part but the women in my family and among my friends have all gotten their degrees first, most at least 4 years and beyond and then they get married.
I believe half of the things I say and say half of the things I believe.

Re: Do Degreed women have a harder time finding a Husband?

doesn't the woman with a better education have better options than those women who are less educated, assuming the higher education also translates into a higher income

that would then indicate the better educated woman can better afford to be selective than her less accomplished counterpart, who is more dependent on her husband's salary to provide for her family

additionally, family size is in decline, which would allow the wife more time to look for a spouse rather than bearing a larger number of children beginning at an earlier age

my belief is the woman who is better educated holds better cards and is therefor less desperate than less educated single women, being less dependent on the spousal income she can now be more discerning about emotional/cultural compatibility
