Re: Is Obama A Bully?

Still can't explain yourself, I see

C'mon. Use your words. I know you can do it

I did and I'm not in the habit of repeating myself. Look up your own skirt and see if you have what it takes to figure it out..

And yet, you repeat your nonsense about how you won't repeat yourself.

You just don't want to embarrass yourself by explaining the nonsense you posted.

So, tell us....do you slip in and out reality this frequently all the time? :screwy

Moderator's Warning:
Gentlemen, please return to the topic which is not each other.

Re: Is Obama A Bully?

When you stop and think about the wisdom that overflows when Biden and Bama get together, its absolutely mind boggling, and may be interpreted as bullying.

Re: Is Obama A Bully?

Cmon now Obama a Bully? Really? How many bullies you know that stutter! :lamo

He can be a Bully, he can be tender, he can be tough, he can be thoughtful ...

It seems to me when it comes to the targeting of individuals for drone strikes, when it comes to countries of less stature, of less means, Obama is very cavalier in his handling of the situation. He has no problem flexing US might and never misses a chance to peacock in front of the press on how tough he is.

However, when faced with real opposition, say Russia, China, Iran..... He's a timid little dove.

So, where I come from we have a name for people who lord their strength over the weak who prey on easy targets but tuck tail to the strong or possibly formidable adversaries. What do we call them?

A Bully.

What say you?

Sounds like G. W. Bush to me.

What tough adversaries did he ever take on?

Re: Is Obama A Bully?

Because "everybody's doing it" makes it OK? Any less cowardly?

It means that the guy who you don't like is no worse than some other sorry Presidents that the USA has had.

Looks like they are missing some from him taking that Loss on Gun Control and getting caught up in his sequester cuts.....huh? Lets hope he doesn't give out a War Cry.

Re: Is Obama A Bully?

Except ya see, I'm not making late term distinctions, mine has been the same from the jump...

but since you mentioned it, you do strike me as one who's well acquainted with looking up a man's skirt... ;)

The last sentence here is an off-topic, personal attack which has nothing to do with the subject of this thread.

Well for instance, let's see.. (From the Progressive viewpoint, since we obviously know the Walmart/Chinese Capitalist viewpoint).

-First actual Progressive president for many years (huge tax levies on smokers, Progressive foreign policy maneuvers that don't lead to actual wars)

-First American president to perhaps, ever so slightly, have 1-2% of their ideology fall under non capitalist. Oh god. How horrible. 1-2% non capitalist for the first time ever in American history!!!! Holy Jesus!!!!! Walmart Save us!!!! Only 98% capitalist instead of 100%!!!! It's the end of the world!!!!! Somewhere in Shanghai a bunch of Sino Capitalists are short a few high priced Russian escorts a month thanks to this!! Oh no!!!

Obama would have to have a pair before he could be a bully.

Did you ever stop and think about how Wally World blew up around the same time that Slick Willy was in office? Now, what do those two have in common?

I loathe Walmart and am more of a distributist/mutualist myself.

I am also a smoker getting tired of footing the bill for other people and pet projects of politicians. I am anti-intervention in my FP as well.

So, what are you getting at?

What I'm getting at is that you people are being silly. This is a market country. The very idea that the markets are being threatened at all is hilarious. Obama is an extreme capitalist. The very idea that he's anti markets is laughable.

Nobody is saying you don't have the right to smoke poison. You do. The law accepts that. I believe also that you should be able to smoke marijuana and that we should also tax you for that, but I still believe you should be able to do it. (I wouldn't even have cigs/weed taxed in store at all, I'd prefer the FED took directly from your income as a "vice tax"). I firmly believe it's your right to die at 50 with a massive hospital bill, drowning in your own blood. I believe, as does the law, that that is your right. Puff away. Puff Away. The point is, vice should be regulated and taxed, not outlawed. It is not bullying when vice is taxed. You are part of a collective society. If you choose to poison yourself, fine. Just understand we will tax the poison before it reaches your lungs.

For one, who is this "you people"? Second, my post, as is clearly seen, is directed toward his FP, where your save capitalism mishegoss came in -- I don't know. Third, Obama is a STATE Capitalist, like Lenin was. Fourth, thank you for the blessing of allowing me to drown in my own blood, mmm..., heart-warming. Fifth and final ,why should I be taxed by you for allowing me to drown in my own blood? That is nonsensical. It presupposes that you have some sort of authority over me. You do not. All "vice" taxes are are money making schemes, swindles if you would, to give politicians pocket money for pet projects to help all their little chicks squawking for mama to feed them, so they get more votes. You can wrap it in whatever Puritanical BS you'd like, but that's all it is.

Obama is a capitalist. He is pro open global markets. That's a capitalist. You insisting upon some little puritanical view of capitalism that "he supposedly doesn't follow" is what is truly silly. If you can't accept that he's a global capitalist, well, then that's the limit of your intellect apparently.

You don't get to "choose" whether you'd like to be part of a societal collective. You're in the collectives conquered lands, guess what, you're part of it until you can summon an army to counter the dominant collective, you pay. The FED/States are the dominant collective of this land, hence your Libertarian argument is flawed. You don't live in Mad Max Northern Mexico. You live in a governed collective. The collective has every right to tax vices to protect its overall collective. It is your logic that is flawed, not the other way around. Now, perhaps you don't fully understand how the country works or have some flawed sense of how human governmental structures and advanced governing systems work, but they have every right to tax vices of their collectives. It is you that has the personal dilemma in that you engage in such vices, not the collective doing the taxing or the vices. Those are mere hive systems and items. You choose to both abuse those items and hence bring the collective down on you. You have only yourself to blame.

The FED/State (Collective) is not to blame NOR are the vices simply because you choose to abuse them. The collective is merely doing what all collectives do, protect their society against vice abusers such as yourself trying to undermine society (the collective) thanks to being a vice abuser subject to penalties. Wishing the system to crash so you can get out of paying vice taxes is a lowly logic in and of itself. You do not occupy the argumentative high ground at all contrary to what you claim.
