Where do you stand?

What’s your take on Benghazi?

Maybe, but no laws were broken.

A question I've asked before, but nobody seems to have considered it. Assuming forces could get from the embassy in Tripoli across the gulf to Benghazi in time, wouldn't that have left the actual embassy at risk? If he knew it was a security risk, why would the ambassador go to Benghazi, especially knowing he'd be there on September 11?

Wonder how you would feel if one of the dead was one of your loved ones. Incredible how liberals can always find justification for the horrible decision of other liberals. Gee.... lives were needlessly lost, but NO LAWS WERE BROKEN??? Disgusting.

The President and his staff need to be investigated thoroughly.

None of the polling responses accurately reflect the best of what's known. For a reference, one can start with the official review.

Of course, that assumes that the goal of the poll is to collect objective information related to people's understanding of what happened.

But nobody's interested in the scrubbed and polished "official review".... unless you're a leftist, of course. ;)

Well, when you can't refute what is said, you resort to attacking the person making the point. Well done.
There was nothing to refute, to begin with, and I wasn't going to just sit there and let the man trash my thread with zero substance behind him.

Just to enlighten you, since you are fairly new here, Don is one of the most respected posters on this board, period, by people of any political ideology. I disagree with Don, frequently, but when he says something I disagree with or dislike, I first check my assumptions since there is a good chance those are in error. He was somewhat vague here, but I asked for a quick answer, not a long, indepth one which he can and has provided in the past on issues, making posts that Zyphlin is jealous of the wordiness of.
The above bolded part is all I really needed to hear from you. Thank you.

The problem is not that Don said something I agreed with, nor that he did not go into great depth, nor that he said anything untrue. The problem, which he illustrated, is your poll question is based entirely on your slanted view of the situation. You di not make an honest poll, you made one designed to try and get the answer you wanted to hear. I would recommend you stop trying to blame others for your own shortcomings.
Where's the slant in this poll?

The first choice is for the smart a***** who really don't care about what happened. The second is for those who still believe Susan Rice. The third is for the usual obstructionists. The fourth is for the Obama disciples. The fifth is for those who feel the President might have been derelict in his duties, and the sixth is for those of us who don't trust Barack Obama, or never trusted him to begin with.

Bush was bad, but Obama is pretty much Bush x 1000

Why is it that "Libertarians" don't sound any different than Liberals?

Umm, first off: Huh? And second off: Huh??

Okay so, Libertarians are no different than Liberals right? That's why we support gun rights, property rights, individual freedoms, we are pro-life, pro legalization, we are against outrageous taxes and we want to END the wars overseas not continue them. Yeah that sounds like a Liberal to me.

If you you alluding to the fact that because many of us are Pro-Gay marriage, that is about the only issue the majority of us have in common with Liberals, simply because we believe it is not the government's business to decide. You see, most of us would be in the Republican party...HOWEVER, alas most (I know some very decent republicans) republicans are voting for Neo-conservatives(Mitt Romney, George Bush) who do nothing but promote the Liberal agenda on a conservative platform. We Libertarians, are TRUE limited government while Liberals are Big government and conservatives are limited government with a bunch of
