I plan my terrorist attacks on America by post. No-one can read my handwriting without years of intensive training. However, it also means it will take years to iron out the fine details.

I didn't refer in my phone conversation to a "second revolution" either. I referred to the first. (Arguable the Second American Revolution was the adoption of the Constitution to supersede the Articles of Confederation. The Third would have been the illegal and immoral War of Northern Aggression. I would guess, taking the long view that we are in the early days of a Fourth Revolution in which the Constitution is retired in favor of a Bureaucratic Despotism.)

By the way, as the IRS Scandals have demonstrated to the quicker students, the Gov-ern-ment cares nopt only about what the current regimes perceived enemies say, but think, and even pray about.
It's 6:30am here, drinking coffee getting ready to start my day before it gets to be 100 and WHAT?!.

You might need to slide the bottle back as I didn't claim anything about YOUR conversations, this was about MY conversations... it ain't all about you Boo-Boo.

What the IRS scandal shows is if you start a questionable charity with TeaBagger names attached ya might get scrutinized... but that ain't phone calls or email snooping of just anybody. No one says ya can't pray, but I do understand the Right needing to attempt this, both A LOT of prayer and focusing on trashing Obama. Given the big schism starting up in the House I see the real need for 'conservatives' to rally around the elephant and quit backstabbing and ankle biting each other.

If I was you I'd worry more about the 'troublemakers' being sent up north which would cut down on your annual nanny state check.

    Yes, yes.

But your idea of a terrorist attack is wearing white shoes after labor Day!

I make sure to never discuss fertilizer, 50 caliber, or gelginite in any conversations now.

I'll be curious to see if this trend grows.

If no one has done this in your electronic communications, please give it a few weeks before responding to this poll. Lets see how many people encounter the phenomenon over the next month or so.

Re: Has anyone altered their phone or e-m ail conversations with you lately?

I have personally made some rather significant changes.

As of late I have been adding certain phrases to random messages. For example, I'll dial a random number and say "Yesterday's chicken is in the pot. I repeat, Yesterday's chicken is in the pot." or during a normal conversation I'll drop in "Able has lit the lamp".

I don't know if it does any good but if, after reading this, you start seeing black helicopters please let me know.

I've always assumed my e-mails, calls and online posts weren't private... I've been cautious from day one. Perhaps not with lovers, but that is going to change. Phone sex is now out of the question.

I, like I believe most of my generation, have known since childhood that our phone conversations could be, and probably were, monitored. I behave accordingly, have all my life. From the beginning with computer communications I have known that privacy is an illusion in that sphere. That nothing is ever completely deleted (unless you use a BFM every single time and then shred the drive) and that eventually someone will see what I've written.
