Of course, I do not require my candidates to harbor any delusions.

I also reject the premise that all of our Presidents have been Christian, TJ for example was a deist who rejected the alleged divinity of Christ and all biblical miracles.

I don't pay attention to religious beliefs. I look at voting records, their personal views concerning policy, bull**** spewed vs action taken and things like that. Dude could believe in some off the wall stuff, but if he meets my requirements, or is at least closer to them than the other guy, he gets my vote. Or neither of them come close, and I don't waste my time contributing to a retarded festival of idiocy.

If he was more fit to run the nation than everybody else I would vote for him. I don't vote based on religion, I vote based on merit.

I'd actually see it as a huge benefit if he weren't religious at all. Then maybe he could make decisions based on what's best for the country and not what's best for his religious supporters.

What is funny is Christians that make fun of the Greeks that believed in Greek Gods, yet their own faith is nothing more believable than Greek Gods.

If that presidential candidate matched my political views the closest of the available options, then certainly.

We have had presidents that weren't christian but all of them had to say they were christian publicly. We'll we ever have a president that will say that "I'm not a christian."

    Kennedy was Catholic.

The majority of American voters in the last election voted for someone that isn't a Christian.

One was a Muslim the other was Mormon.

If they're view on policies matched mine to a point that I was comfortable with, and did so more than the other major party candidate, sure thing. I don't really care what religion, race, gender, hair style, height, etc is of a candidate

That's for this amazing insight that didn't answer the posts question, and deal with christians "making fun of greeks" which hasn't happened at all in this thread. Truly, a wonderous post illustrating your views on this matter and not clearly showing a utter disdain for most christians to the point of needing to interject attacks towards them seemingly randomly into conversations.
