Since "stupid" is perhaps the most subjectively applied adjective in common usage, yes, I believe "stupid" polls should be allowed.

Actually, I have seen so many without any real point, I decided to make my own with no real point. Most of the time I actually just laugh at them and move on.

I think this is a pretty unique feature of DP and while I don't often vote in such polls, particularly when they are dealing with a political question and the results are predictable, I do look at the ones related to social or societal issues that have no obvious political bent.

As someone who thinks that no one should interfere in the personal decisions of others when they do not directly affect anyone else, I'd be the last person to want to curtail someone else's ability to ask poll questions - whatever floats your boat.

Actually, I think it is a good thing as well, and this was made entirely in satire-sarcasm to some I have read (which should be obvious in the questions asked).

About 1/3 are written for some reason, 1/3 are written to make some kind of statement, and 1/2 tend to be written so that there is really only one answer available. I often browse through them and just laugh and wonder if they are serious.

So I decided to not be serious, and just have fun.
