This CIA scandal is getting bigger every day and IMO someone is going to have to fall on the sword before it reaches Obama himself. I think Holder will resign and say he is 100% responsible and that Obama knew nothing about this (as usual).Then Obama can come out and say" It's OVER! A big head has rolled and this ends the investigation." Only time will tell if this tactic works.
 
Yes, I think he's going to resign. Within days.

He'll only resign if he's been planning to anyway . . . or he's offered a plum of a job to do so. If he thinks he's going to get continuously dragged before congressional committees, he'll stay right where he is. He's not going to do that on his dime.

No! All this snooping started with GWBush and the over 1000 page prepared Patriot Act that was allegedely a reaction to 9-11, however, as I stated it was proactive not reactive. It had already been written. Now we suffer the fruits of this legislation. Why don't you really inquire about gov't snooping and intelligence eavesdropping and fiber optic intercepts and network convergence points and start with NSA, FCC, and a hundred other acronyms nosing into your privates?

My chainsaws are workin' good, but I'm fixin' my dirt track stock car. A real pain in the ass. Makes me grumpy. I love the ride, but hate workin' on the friggin' things. That and Holder listening in on my phone calls with my sweetie. Times are tough, eh? HeHe.

He'll hang on a little while so he can pretend he left of his own volition and not because he was forced out. He'll try to stretch it toward the summer recess in August i think.

Will Holder resign? Only if he is offered a "consultant" or perhaps a lobbyist job where he can make easy money and not have to take any heat, or perhaps if the heat gets so great that he has to direct some of it away from the administration.
 
The heat has already gotten so great. I think Holder's gone. I'm just sorry he was ever tapped as AG in the first place. Terrible choice.
 
I don't know if Holder will resign - I couldn't care less. But the "scandal" is hardly "getting bigger everyday." In fact, it's safe to say that it's getting smaller since it's hardly in the news.
 
I came to the conclusion that he would resign when HuffPo and Axelrod turned on him.

holder would best serve the president by resigning
he equated news gathering with spying
the media is rightfully incensed by that
the head of our system of justice cannot make such fundamental mistakes and still be found capable to do that job
if he does not resign, he will become a massive weight upon the Obama administration
the media will assure it



this again documents Obama's fundamental weakness. he is a terrible judge of talent
 
Why would Holder resign? Nothing Obama is even alleged to have done is impeachable or illegal. Obama is lame duck. So why would Holder resign and why would Obama care?
 
Often times I find that telling the truth can be really helpful. I wonder if he'd be interested in exploring that option? :shock:

Will you ever get tired of or embarrassed for saying Obama doesn't have a clue as to what is going on in his administration?
 
It was noted on CNN today that Holder has been schmoozing program directors at several networks and at least at CNN they felt it indicated that he felt he was in a bit of trouble with congress related to the Rosen matter and Holder's testamony in the congressional hearings. If it gets to the point where Holder is investigated seriously for perjury either in congress or in support of the warrant supporting documents, I think it's likely that he will resign, either of his on volition or at Obama's urging and it will be played up as having nothing to do with this matter.

Washington is as it ever has been and as it ever will be.

Torture, killing, invasions, chaos, death, destruction, collusion, double dealing, lying, misrepresentation, deception were all initiated and approved by the previous administration of GWBush, the First Moron, and so no laws have been broken, as far as I can tell. Now, if, and I say if and until you can catch him in a copy room getting a vacuum pulled on his love muscle, you're SOL. That's reality, don't ya' know?

I don't think Obama's going anywhere unless he is caught having sex with his daughters and even then democrats would defend him, it's a private matter about sex would be the line. Holder on the other hand has one foot out the door or under the bus if you will.

I find it hilarious that someone on the right is complaining about what the Dept. of Justice has done. What would you have done in the exact same circumstance? I think those people on the right will continue to throw scandals at President Obama until something sticks.

I don't know if he will resign, but if he does, I hope Obama will pick someone that will go after the Wall Street crowd that almost brought our economy to its knees in 2008.
