You are free to donate more of your money to the government which will promptly waste it on some pointless, useless program that will end up causing more problems than it fixes.

But the big problem is that you believe that because you want to waste your money on government, that you should have the power to compel others to do the same.

No, my big problem is an understanding of history and economics and a concern for the sustainability of his country arguing with people who have one dimensional ideas of how it all works.

Conservatives have the best bumper stickers, but not much behind them.

    .

Sure. Like the EPA. Or the FDA.

Because who needs an environment or safe drugs and food when you can use dollar bills for both face masks, nutrition and winter heat.
Many Trump supporters have lots of problems, and those deplorables are bringing those problems to us. They’re racists. They’re misogynists. They’re islamophobic. They're xenophobes and homophobes. And some, I assume, are good people.

Here's my voting record, for all to see.

    2000 Gore
    2004 Kerry
    2008 Obama
    2012 Romney

    25% hit rate... #thatsucksman

The only vote I regret is Al Gore. Glad he didn't win, the crazy bastard. The rest.... well I'm smarter than you, America. I'm right and you're wrong.

Um, perhaps you would you like to show us Obama campaign literature or other documentation that says he was (is) anti-gun.

Re: Your voting record: 2008 and 2012

    1996 Dole
    2000 Bush
    2004 Kerry
    2008 Obama
    2012 Jill Stein (Green Party)

I have just been becoming more and more liberal, and more and more disenchanted with our two party system in general. I doubt I will ever vote Democrat again in a Presidential election unless I happen to be living in a swing state, and even then I would be reluctant.

    Let's go back further.

2004 - Kerry, against my will
    2008 - Barr
2012 - Johnson. I even posted my ballot to DP.

Re: Your voting record: 2008 and 2012

    1988 Ron Paul
1992 Bush (can't stand Bill Clinton, viscerally)
1996 Dole (actually flipped a coin between Dole and Harry Brown - see "1992")
2000 Voted for my choice in every other category - and left "President/Vice President" blank. How very prescient of me!
    2004 Write-in: Clint Eastwood
2008 McCain (with huge reluctance; considered voting for Obama - what an idiot)
2012 Gary Johnson (the first time in my American life when I actually felt comfortable with my presidential vote - even knowing perfectly well how futile it is)

I did not vote for president in 2008 and 2012.I did vote in other races and ballot issues. After Bush I refuse to vote for another rino.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"
