The Hawaiians are nowhere close to the top. The Japanese dominate, especially in politics. The Chinese are close second, especially in commerce. Whites are doing just fine.

If Obama had endured any bullying, I am pretty sure he would tell us. Over, and over, and over...

Depends on the context. The "drop of blood" notion of race is a construction, just as race is, but how I am discussing a topic would determine what words I would use to describe him.
 
why does his race matter? his politics is what SHOULD matter.
 
I must say I expected to see descriptive choices like... competent/incompetent, likeable, devious, honest, etc. "Color" me shocked at the actual choices. :(

Okay, my answer is "black", because that's how Obama describes himself and it would be disrespectful not to honor his choice.
 
I think that he is likable and has a great sense of humor but can also be quite arrogant at times and does not like to be criticized. I also think he is hung up on the celebrity lifestyle and that he REALLY enjoys the hobnobbing with them during his fundraising activities and things.

As far as his presidency is concerned, he believes a lot of things that I don't agree with. I honestly can't say whether or not he is incompetent because I don't know if anyone could fix some of the messes we are in now. However, he IS completely inexperienced. I think a more experienced person with a business background who would make the cuts needed and raise the taxes needed would be a much more effective leader during these difficult economic times.

EDIT: Sorry, I couldn't just pick black or white. :roll: This should be more in depth about what we like and don't like about him IMO.

For those that think racism is a thing of the past, nothing shouts "racist" louder than someone obsessed with such a nuance.

The real measure of this would be if Obama boarded a bus in Savannah in 1964, would it be ok if he sat in the front, was remanded to the back or would they be happy if he merely sat halfway back... (we all know the answer to this question)....and we know this Michael Berry guy is a racist of the highest order, keeping racism is alive and well in the 21st century.

I would describe him as a war criminal. His skin color is not important.

Out of all the misfits in society- psychopaths, pedophiles, serial rapists and killers, whatever,- none is as detrimental to our community as racists and bigots. If there's a next step in human evolution it can't happen as long as there's racists and bigots among us.

But thats not how I would describe him. I would use his own words to describe him. Blind, incompetent, uninformed, uninvolved, pathetic excuse of a leader, embarrassingly disengaged, and irresponsible.

seems like they all could be used interchangeably, and the only people that would make hay over the issue would be partisan idiots

If Obama is 50% African and 50% Caucasian, he is a little bit more Caucasian than the average African American, however he is considerably more mixed than the average Caucasian-American.

Keep in mind that the average African American is about 20% white.

The average Caucasian-American is only about 2% black.

Therefore, I voted "black." Blacks (African Americans) are inherently a more mixed racial group, and Obama fits the bill.

Not that it matters. He's an arrogant bastard no matter his race.
