I am no fan of obama but if he goes down we are left with Biden who is dumber of dumb and dumber so I am not rooting for obama's presidency to go up in smoke but I can't help but think he is in serious trouble. It has been one scandal after another and when he dodged the question today about when he knew what the IRS was doing alarms went off. If he is tied to this IRS thing he is done. So what do you think, does obama weather the storm or are we seeing another Nixon in the making?

I think he weathers the storm with no permanent damage outside of a hit in the polls for awhile. Except for political junkies and die hard partisans, most Americans do not understand Benghazi or exactly what the Republicans are trying to prove. The IRS scandal I think has legs as no one like the IRS, but if this was just a few zealous underlings trying to do a favor for the boss without him knowing it or anyone from the White House involved, it too will subside. But on this one, I can't help but wonder if in a speech when the president called the tea party undemocratic if that didn't lead to a bit of over zealousness on the IRS to impress the boss.

The AP story, I do not think the MSM will ever be as trusting as it was up to this point and the President better watch his P's and Q's. You do not mess with one of their own. When it come to disclosing classified material, I am on Holder's side on this as he attempts to find who did it.

The President will limp along for a couple of months and then recover ala Reagan after Iran-Contra. But if more stuff comes out and somewhere something points to the White House, the president will be for a very rough time. But for me, I will kick back, drink a Singha and watch without jumping to rash conclusions on a bit of information available at the moment.

Since he has the media on his side there is every chance you are correct, time will tell.

Obama will weather the storm while not getting much else done. Joe "Put Y'all in Chains" Biden and Hillary "What does it matter" Clinton have better probability of winning the Powerball Saturday than the Presidency in 2016.

Nah- he won't go down. If Reagan could be considered the teflon president, this guy is hard anodized aluminum built to last. ;)

What storm?

I'm just glad the modern news agencies are kind enough to hand us all umbrellas to become oblivious to the storm.

Exactly what has Obama done to get impeached? I dont just watch Fox so yes, I do pay attention to politics.
Don't pay much attention to politics, huh?

There is no doubt that Obama will come through this just fine.

If he were to walk down the street kicking babies and spitting on senior citizens they'd still chop Washington off of Mt Rushmore to put his face up.

I never ever mentioned the word of impeachment. But common sense will tell you that the president is having a hard time over the last week or too. Storm is probably the right word. Read my post number 2, then I think you will understand.

He's not going anywhere. I'm not his biggest fan, never have been, but he has done absolutely nothing impeachable or illegal, despite what the right-wing extremists would like us to believe.

Oh, Ok I think I agree completely with you.

Is that what FauxNews is telling you....LOL....Hilary's approval ratings have gone up during this Repub charade. You guys are so desperate to take her down because you know you don't stand a chance until 2024 if she enters the race.

I never said impeached, I said leave in disgrace although if it comes out he had any knowledge of what the IRS was doing impeachment is probable.

Lol... on what grounds? Obama isn't the head of the IRS.

What? You mean quit? I agree about the IRS thing, if he knew he deserves it. But I dont think he did and when made aware he handled it as appropriate. Still no evidence of Obama doing anything wrong, except leaving the wrong guy in place at the IRS.

If this has been closer to the end of the term I'd agree. 2016 is a long time from now and if the economy continues to improve it should be a slam dunk for another democrat in the White House in 2016.

I do think Obama will not get much else done, but what's left anyway? My only worry is if any Supreme Court justices retire, which is a real possibly; I'm thinking Ginsberg. He did everything he wanted in the first term, namely universal healthcare and getting the pump primed on electric automotive technology, both of which I support in a RINO kinda way. 😉 I do think healthcare reform needs tweaking however, but Obamacare is a start.

I can't be "sure" of anything. Unlike others, however, I require evidence. There. Is. None.

Thats fine and I agree with you but that is not what your previous post said. You said he has done nothing wrong which of course is impossible to know and proves your bias. With all the lies and deceit that he has been part of I think there is a very good chance he has indeed done something very wrong but I like you will require solid evidence.

If he knew what they were doing and turned a blind eye he is gone. If he encouraged them to do what they were doing he is impeached.

If he knew what they were doing? As of what is currently known, this issue had already been brought up before within the IRS and a direct order was given for it to cease. So why would it even make it up to Obama? And even if it did, why would it be more than a water cooler conversation?

Adviser: Hey, did you hear what happened in the IRS?
Obama: No, what?
Adviser: Caught a few guys discriminating against right wing groups.
Obama: Well, tell them to cut that **** out. Now, on to the healthcare bill how's that going?

You're grasping at straws here buddy.
