So, if something comes from the GOP or any Conservative source, you agree with it 100% of the time? I must admit I didn't get that impression but I could be wrong. Not a Liberal bone in your body, huh? I must have misread some of your posts, I got the impression you were open-minded and took one topic at a time.

I'm not criticizing you, just trying to comprehend.

I'd have to have a screw loose to take that as criticism. I am most definitely not 100% conservative or GOP. I don't see bias as being 100% one way or another. I guess I'd call it more of a basic perception. I tend to view everything initially with a conservative perspective. I also recognize that I'm biased enough to maybe not see things fully objectively.

So, shall I think of you as open-minded with Conservative leanings? That's a bit off the definition for Partisan.

(See, it's not so simple, is it?)

No, I don’t believe I have a partisan bias. I definitely have an ideological bias. My values are decidedly liberal. VERY liberal. But I don’t have an ounce of loyalty to any political party. When the Democrats and the Republicans are going at it I don’t automatically give the benefit of the doubt to the Democrats. If anything I am harder on the Democratic party because they are SUPPOSED to be the liberal party.

I don’t think anyone here has ever accused me of being partisan either.

Not sure, but probably not. I don't feel any real enthusism for either idealogy or party. I have a mild preference/sympathy for the left wing, but that's not intrinsic. There were periods of history (in the United States and elsewhere) where I would have supported conservatism and right-wing politics.

I have a partisan bias against socialist (Liberals, progressives and any other group marginalizing the individual in favor of bloated nanny state government fall under this definition), but don't think I have one for any currently defined bias.

Yeah, I do have a partisan bias. As much as I hate the Right... I hate the Left more, and I'm capable of being quite unreasonable about it.

Hating the left is unreasonable, yes. Hating the right just makes sense.

Re: Do You Have a Partisan Bias?

I'm not a Republican or Democrat, but I tend to agree Democrat positions over the alternative. If the Republicans had some quality representatives (Huntsman), then I might be inclined to agree with them more.
