    Most egregious scandal

So I have long mocked the Cons for trying to make Obama scandals where there are none. Now, you may have one or two, but you can't have them all... so, lets pick one. Which of the current scandals has the most traction (will damage Obama's reputation the most)? Is it also the one that offends you the most?

We should have a "remember when" flashback thread. I say this because Fenton in another thread just brought up Bill Ayers again. So, yeah, my answer is Bill Ayers.

But you said current, so being truthful I pick the AP story. I'm pretty sure that's the ballsiest incursion of privacy I've seen from him yet.

According to some, the scandal connected to Benghazi has to do with gun-running to Syria.

From what I know of right now, the IRS scandal is the worst. How can any American citizen be okay with what they did?

It is still too early for me to tell. As personally upset as I am about Benghazi, I think that was more incompetence than laws being broken.

As a fan of the Constitution and a believer in the Freedom of the Press the one that most concerns me is the AP story. But I will wait to see how it plays out.

    Gun Running.

Former Sec. Of State pointedly stated that he would have done nothing different. I put the word of Gates above the vomit of the partisan hacks.

The IRS event is turning out to be a joke as 2/3rd of the audits weren't even on Tea Party groups and the only group that was denied status was a Democrat PAC.

As for the wiretappings, I don't know enough about it.

How can any citizen be okay with what the IRS did before? The IRS has justifiable grounds to examine potential 501(c)4 abuse. And there is plenty of it.

What is sad about this is how certain groups from Churches to Greenpeace during the Bush years had the same **** done to them except there wasn't any reason but political hackery. People are getting upset that an area of the tax code that has been abused up the *** is getting stomped on while ignoring that 2/3rd of the audits weren't on TP groups and the only organization denied was a Democrat PAC at the same time ignoring how when the IRS did the same **** to other groups, it was done purely out of political spite. One Pasdena church came out against the Iraq War and was hit with a big audit. Tell me how that is the same as auditing an area that has tax experts for years demanding the IRS do something.

If you're going to be upset over the IRS scandal, you need to start walking back in time and start getting upset at the recent rounds of audits that were done purely out of political spite. At least the IRS now has a justifiable reason to smack down abuse.

No, i did not forget Fast and Furious. Given that most people have, I gave it the attention it was due. Feel free to argue it under the "other."

Now, Fast and Furious may bother you the most, but its hard to argue it as an egregious scandal as it lacked the traction to make to "scandal" level. It is history.
