He's a little bastard, but a little bastard who will fade away soon enough.

No. Good kid who needs to stop smoking that wacky tobbacy. Heart broken who isn't mature enough yet to realize he'll get over her. Needs to realize being annoyed by the paparazzi is a small price to pay for being a world renown and adored entertainer/gazillionaire at 18.

Listen to uncle smegol and don't let if all goto your head. Always listen to your mother no matter how old you are even if girls complain you're a mommas boy. She's a good lady who would never steer you wrong. Try to diversify with a little acting. Read. Remember The Lord.

I'm neutral. He's in the news a lot for acting like a little douche, but he's also genuinely talented and does a lot of good for charity work/visiting fans. He honestly just seems like most people in terms of character - a little bit of good, a little bit of bad.

EDIT: The problem is that his mistakes are amplified because he's on the word stage. Most people his age make A LOT of cringe-worthy mistakes, but they get to make them in private.

He doesn't bother me. My buddy's daughter is 14 and she is enamored with Justin Bieber, I find that to be cute. She also loves the latest boy band, the ones I think are a little gay, they arete always groping each other right on the crotch. But she its wild annoy them, i talk to her about them and she just lights up, so i have become find of the boy bands not a fan but not a negative perspective.

I have an extremely positive view of the guy, because he's talented - really talented, and I'm not talking "auto-tune talented". My daughters used to be huge fans of his, and when his movie came out, I had to take them to see it at the theater, which meant I had to sit through an hour and a half of his life story. I came out much more impressed than when I went in. As a musician myself, I am always much more impressed with those who can play multiple instruments. This kid is 100% self-taught. He was banging around on coffee cans, in perfect rhythm, at 3 years old. He owns where he is right now. He self promoted himself on YouTube and owes his fame and fortune to himself and a strong mother behind him. Yeah, he eventually signed with Usher, but he was very well known before Usher picked him up. I remember when he was just on YouTube, before he got really popular, and my girls and all their friends were just over the moon for this kid.

Also, as has been mentioned, he does an awful lot of charity work, visits sick kids in the hospital, does a lot of good work that he doesn't have to do - work that he probably doesn't have time to do.

Also, as has been mentioned, he's not really doing anything the rest of us haven't done when we were teenagers, but he's doing it in the public eye. Good grief, I can't imagine what would have been said about me if the paparazzi had been following me around 24/7 when I was a kid.

Lose your new "friends." Stop throwing public tantrums so I don't have to see ridiculous pictures of your bodyguards picking up your tiny body and lifting you to safety. And keep it in your pants. Not all your baby-mamas are going to keep quiet.

My God I didn't even think about the paparazzi following me around in my teens. Mercy I would have been ruined, "so clax why were you..." Enough said.

 OMG I know. Kids try so hard to do **** that their parents won't find out about. Could you imagine - nothing you do - EVER - will be safe. You couldn't even buy Ex Lax at the pharmacy without 10,000 reports speculating as to what was wrong with you.

My daughter never liked him and so I have no reason to think anything of him as I don't have to sit and suffer through it. All I know is that I wish she would drop this autotune bull**** and whatever that annoying crap is she keeps finding on Youtube. I'm afraid she has no taste in music. :(

I have heard of him, know what he looks like, and am aware he is famous but I couldn't name a single song he sings. But I am overseas and miss out on a lot of pop culture stuff going on back home in the States.

Can we agree we hate/dislike/loathe/have a negative opinion of Justin Bieber?
I have sympathy for him to be honest. He seems like one of the many kids pushed in to the entertainment industry at an age where he wouldn't be able to make a rational choice about it himself and he hasn't been protected enough to keep his feet on the ground. It's the parents, management and yes-men I object to.

Why would anyone hate some kid that sings and who other kids like?

If you don't enjoy the music don't listen to it .... What is there to hate?

The documentary turned me as well. I avoided watching it at first because I figured it was just be an annoying film filled with meaningless nonsense and screaming girls, but after it kept getting good reviews from people other than teenage girls, I decided to watch it. It really impressed me. He's definitely earned his career and most of the people tearing him down haven't done half that he's done in his short life.

Ah, the hate of justin bieber... the great uniter of mankind.

Well, it's easy to hate somebody if most adults don't like him - it's turned popular. Now it's trendy to hate him. I don't understand it because of the level of talent this kid has, and honestly, I am talking Michael Jackson-level talent. Will he last as long as Michael Jackson? Probably not. It was different time for Michael Jackson, and adults and kids alike were fans, so Beiber will burn out a lot quicker.

But yeah, haters gonna hate.

Rubbish! Most people couldn't care less either way. The "hatred" is a creation of marketting - the only real question is whether it was created by the media or his management. Only complete morons think they hate someone they've never met.
