What think you. I think he is going to make a run for it now that Benghazi will haunt Hillary and Biden. He disapproved of Obama's budget plans, he and his wife are both physicians I believe so he will have real world insight into the fiasco that is to come, and he was very good at organizing grassroot support.

He's a grassroots doctor who disapproved of Obama's plan.

My - yes - that wins it for me.

I think Howard Dean's time in the spotlight has passed. I look for a fresh face, perhaps one out of Indiana or Colorado and a couple of surprises. You did know Jimmy Dean was also a pretty good singer way back when.

At least he has name recognition from his singing career and his sausage business and name recognition is very important in politics. Imagine somebody like Duane Swierczynski trying to run for office.

Politically, he seems like he's pretty balanced. I might vote for him.

(just kidding about the singing/sausage thing)

..... What year are we in?

I am curious where you come up with the "haunt Hillary and Biden". What polling are you basing it on. Most recent polls I can find still have her extremely favorably rated.

Yeah because when the democratic cat fight starts, a poll today is going to be relevant how?

SO what are you basing your comment on then? A guess about events 3 years from now?

Common sense, political realities--take your pick. BTW, Biden has a 45% approval rating today. I am sure that is going to grease his path to the nomination.

Wishful thinking is more like it. There is zero evidence that this will be an issue for Clinton in 2016, and much evidence that it won't be.

Wow...you guys really are desperate to try to make something out of Benghazi that isn't there....LOL... Hilary's approval ratings are at an all-time high and she easily has the highest rating over any of those "front runners" for the 2016 race.

The only people would believe that Benghazi will "haunt" Hilary are the wacko far right FauxNews crowd that wouldn't have voted for her in any event. Good luck with this one!

Re: the throwaway Benghazi comment -- Benghazi is just porn for Republicans, nothing more. I go to Bustyasianbeauties.com. Republicans go to Fox to read up on the latest Benghazi "developments."

Anyway, Dean is a good guy and he was a good governor in Vermont. Sometimes I think though that a country that turns away from a candidate because he made a funny screaming sound deserves Palin for president.

She lost once to a guy who has an approval rating 10 points below hers. Once politicians are no longer politicians, their generic poll ratings go up. I believe Carter's ratings are 10 above Hilliary's and he still has 4 more years of eligibility. Perhaps you should nominate him because he will win in a landslide

apparently you have not watched the news this week. Benghazi is not a Fox creation.

I'd like to say "I'm pro-Swierczynski" but I don't know *how* to say that!!

Obama's skin color won it for him.

So - pray tell - why the sarcasm?

His skin color seems to be a pretty big deal for you. Is that why you didn't vote for him?

After the other worldly, messianic, hot eyed rapture of the true believers with Obama and Hillary, Howard Dean would be perceived as a man displaced from an earlier century, boring and stodgy, with strange, dated views of Democrat objectives, terminally "uncool" and out of touch with the requisite street smarts and disdain for knowledge and education found in the rank and file of that big diverse Liberal circus tent with it's multi-colored quilt of Tolerance, No Judgments and social progress found only by regression into the Third World.

Excerpt from Wikipedia on Howard Dean as governor of Vermont:

"Dean was faced with an economic recession and a $60 million budget deficit. He bucked many in his own party to immediately push for a balanced budget, an act which marked the beginning of a record of fiscal restraint. During his tenure as governor, the state paid off much of its debt, balanced its budget eleven times, raised its bond rating, and lowered income taxes twice."

and

"As governor, Dean was endorsed by the National Rifle Association several times"

Holy crap! Why aren't Republicans lining up around the block...twice!...to vote for this guy??

"Dean also focused on health care issues, most notably through the "Dr. Dynasaur" program, which ensures near-universal health coverage for children and pregnant women in the state;"

Oh.

It's a very big deal to me, and not for the reasons you are suggesting. His skin color is what got him elected. If Barack Obama were white, he would be nothing more than "just another junior senator".

Man....... If anything you said were even remotely true, Hilary's approval ratings would be dropping. You are either desperate to try to make something of nothing....or you are duped by the right-wing propaganda...not sure which.
