GOP Benghazi hearings a partisan disgrace?

I don't recall the mushroom clouds (i recall a lot about chem/bio and some about dirty bombs), but no, it wasn't pure B.S. Firstly because we found both uranium and chemical weapons in Iraq, and Secondly because it was the opinion of the IC that there were active production lines ongoing in Iraq at the time, protected by a significant (and previously successful) D&D campaign by a regime skilled in that technique. And not just our own IC, but that of our allies and even our not-so-allies.



I realize that's a handy bumper sticker. It merely lacks what Henry Kissinger used to call "the added benefit of being true".

Btw, here's another tidbit not discussed much on Fox News: no WMD of real significance or existing weapons programs were ever found.

When I want serious disscussion, I to often get lol'd. The only reason you chose not to respond seriously, is because you know that no substantial proof exists. This is a fact, and while much speculation exists, it is not satisfactory to the justice system or moral conviction standards.
 
Obama's only real fault on handling the Boston Bombers was that as usual, he hesitated as long as he could before accepting that they were terrorists.

The expected large stockpiles were not found. However any objective person can work out that the UN sanctions against Iraq were failing and the regime fully intended to crank up wmd production again....once the heat was off.
 
I'm not sure about the hearings, but this thread is fast turning into a partisan disgrace.

Saddam was a fool. He pretended to have WMD. We rammed cruise missles down his throat. It is what it is. My point is that there's always opportunity to witch hunt.

Carter wimping out as hostages were taken in Iraq; Reagan being senile when marines died in Beruit; Daddy Bush missing the significance of the whole Chinese revolution thing; Clinton probably getting head when our ship got hit; JR totally screwing the pouch on 911, Obama sleeping during the attacks at Benghazi. No one is perfect. No one tells the whole truth when SHTF. No one really cares.
