Who is responsible for the most terrorist attacks in the US?

Which group?

Yeah, it kinda does. Right wing is all about being regressive, maintaining the status quo, tradition and all that stuff. There's lots and lots of variation in the right wing, from libertarians to religious nutjobs, but they're all right wing.

Nonsense.

Islamic extremists are right wing because they want to regress back to the time of Mohammed in terms of culture and practices.

The above betrays a massive amount of misunderstanding...

Yup, they sure are.

I clicked on Islamic Extremists.

But, what is worthy of debate is one's perception of "terrorist."

Form of the word, terror.

A good question to ask is, out of all the humans that reside on planet earth:

1. How many will lay their head down tonight ACTUALLY knowing there is a really good chance that they will be blown away before the morning.

2. And of those people, who terrify's them the most? Whose bombs do they fear?

That could change the whole dynamic of the thread question.

Why are we polling random forum members regarding this question? What the hell does my opinion have to do with it?

Anarchists

Ecoterrorists

Islamic extremists

Right-wing extremists

where do you put far left nutcases like Loughner, Lanza and the Aurora Co shooter

McVeigh was a right wing extremist

Reno was a left wing extremist

9-11 and Fort Hood were Islamic extremists

VT, Newtown, Aurora etc were arguably leftwing extremists

the terrorists...

It's always amazing to me how many of the more childish, dogmatic right wingers fail to realize something so obvious as that. They are ignorant, so do not know the meaning of terms, are unintelligent, so cannot understand that what is being conserved in conservatism are cultral mores and they are only capable of viewing the world in terms of identity, rendering it little more than the stuff of Cowboys and Indians.

There are certainly left wingers who play the same game, but it is especially evident among much of the Americam right.

More nonsense. The argument is on it's face just a simple-minded anti-conservative polemic, but I'll let the conservatives defend themselves. It's the inclusion of libertarians as targets of the original diatribe that gives the game away: the attack comes from people who don't know what they're talking about.

No, it is simply somebody who understood the meaning of the term well before you were even a little twinkle in your baby Daddy's eyes.

Try studying a little political science, son. You would not appear so foolish if you did. Islamism is archly conservative, and only a complete ignoramus would fail to understand that.

It doesn't matter where I put them, the point of my little exercise was to show terror committed by Muslims is not a dominate problem.

yeah it is. its like saying what kills more people

1) heart disease

2) cancer

3) strokes

4) diabetes related complications

and claiming strokes aren't a dominating problem

Islam is the single greatest motivator of terrorism impacting Americans now and has been since 1977

I quite agree that Islam, certainly the dangerous kind, is conservative, even reactionary. I'm a grandfather of eight who has taught this material at the university level. So much for your assumptions.

Ah. Citing your lefty agit-prop source again. The only source cited here to actually have been named as his inspiration by a terrorist.
I don't know what you are trying to say.

I don't know what you are trying to say.

1. The SPLC has zero credibility as a source.
2. The terrorist who attacked the Family Research Council said he was inspired by the SPLC.
3. The SPLC isn't credible except as a terrorist inspiration.

  1. Your opinion is noted.
  2. In your world do they have free speech rights?
  3. Your opinion is noted, again.

the SPLC has a need to continually pandering to the fears of lefties so those lefties continue to send the Pimp Morris Dees and his flunkies more and more money. They create all sorts of boogeymen in order to pander to the weakminded or easily scared members of several interest groups including blacks, gays, Jews, and others who perceive themselves to be the targets of "right wing racist militias"

Nice work (and I mean that). It's the only possible defense. And yet the irony is overwhelming. SPLC's compromised moral position tainting their self-righteous pretensions.
