Actually, bombs are used every day for legitimate purposes - anywhere from: mining, special effects, demolitions, etc.
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK

    I don't, just the government.

I wouldn't even really say I "hate" the government. I don't really hate anyone or anything. I just realize that we'd all be much better off without the government, or at least a lot less of it.

Yes, with a permit and trained personel. I doubt explosive engineers get their bomb recipes off the internet. I hope they went to college at least.

But with easy access to bomb recipes any fool can make one...as witnessed by the Boston bombers.

Bomb-making instructions don't kill people, people kill people.

Re: Should bomb-making instructions be protected free speech?

    1. You can't ban bomb making instructions in such a method that it would be effective. Other countries (believe it or not) also have the internet, and can host sites. Additionally, there does not exist the kind of oversight infrastructure that could scan the entire internet to make sure that no one has left bomb making instructions (say) in a note entitled "why i love kittens" on their facebook page.

    2. Once you've accepted the lack of capability on the part of government to censor the interwebz (China puts large amounts of resources into this.... and fails), the low-cost high-yield solution becomes obvious.
