Liberals can't ban bags, they would have no where to carry their weed, rolling papers, and other drugs
I've never heard of anyone getting murdered with a backpack. But I have with guns, bullets and bombs. Yet the OP only wants to ban backpacks. LOL Do you see the absurdity of his logic? Given the absurdity of your post above I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't.
- Colonel Paul YinglingNobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.
Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.
All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.
Our security can never be 100%...this would be a horrible police state, with safety nazis roaming all over....not worth it..
Rather than prohibitions and banning packs, we must work at the root causes.
After reading all the comments on this I retract my OP, I was over reacting and looking for a simple solution to a complex problem. My apologies to the 6 people that agreed with me.
