    NO
Every nation should be treated the same....with fairness and respect....

No, context matters. No nation is the same, treating them as such is dealing in fantasy.

I agree, but I also extend this logic to domestic situations. This country, far too often, tries to make equality out of true inequalities.

I think blacks, gays and women (for examples) are the same as everyone else and should be treated as such barring criminal conviction.

Im making no judgement call on the value or quality of the cultural contributions of Jay-z and Beyonce, only that music is a component of cultural expression and therefore would obviously qualify for travel exemptions with respect to the Cuban travel embargo. And although from what I understand level of influence on the culture is not a factor in determining exemption eligibility, like it or not Jay-Z and Beyonce are leading American cultural influencers both in the US and around the world in music, dance, sports, glamor and motion picture theater.

Well, I am making a judgment call on the "culture" they wish to export. And I am delighted that Jay-Z bragged in a rap about his special connection to Obama. Maybe he'll learn something from the backlash.

Women are not the same as men. If this were true, we wouldn't have distinct military standards, debates over who has control over abortions, etc. I'm sick of people wanting their differences recognized if and only if it is to their advantage in a given scenario. Similarly, a same sex pair is not the opposite sex pair. IMO, you accept the reality that there are significant differences and take the bad with the good.

I agree with this part in that every individual is different and that should be recognized; nonetheless, I believe the gender role (or expectation) differences between blacks, gays, women and the majority are the result of social factors and not biological variation.

I can agree in part. But I don't think that testosterone is without influence, and this is "biological."
