And the way they show that they love you isn't by being your Knight in Shining Armor, it's by being at your side through thick and thin, being an equal partner in your life, loving and supporting your children, helping with the dishes, taking pride in the home you both have, being your biggest fan in the whole wide world. A good husband and father is a leader, a protector, a provider, a role model and a teacher. Find one and hold him tight.

And lock your doors at night so you'll never have the answer to your OP.

l didnt claim he must die to prove his love ,maggie

in fact l didnt say anything different than you said.

if he is as you described above ,he already deserves the devotion

l hope l am clear now.

if l find such a man ,l would die for him

    l am such a person......

Basically, such a thing cannot happen. Either I die and do not see it happening, or he dies and cannot perform his intentions. There are some combinations of course. But that is it basically.

Right on, it really comes down to the safety of our loved ones, whatever it takes.
Neither side in an argument can find the truth when both make an absolute claim on it.

If the original OP situation ever happened to me and my fiancee, I would do everything I could to save her. First off, I wouldn't let him lay a hand on her. I would be on the criminal faster than Jesse Owens, going straight for his gun. Once I pry it from him, whether I get shot or not, I would take it and blow both his knee caps off, then drag him out to the middle of the street and call the cops. I wouldn't kill him, but I would make it his last act of violence.
Scientific fact: If you took all of the veins from your body and laid them end to end, you would die.

Eh, you'd likely die, she'd cry for a while and then find someone new.

Re: for men - What would you do ?

This thread could give me to blues. I've always worried about her and often fear for her. The thought of losing my wife and our children losing their mother is a more horrifying and crippling thought than I can really comprehend. I have faced imminently losing her once. Then twice thru 2 high risk pregnancies. Without any doubt as I've been there, my ego irrelevant, the overwhelming if not singular consideration I have in this that she lives.

But I also suspect, that at least to some degree, she and the children might feel that way about me too. I suspect it could immediately become us each pleading and plotting for the other one's life - and - ideally - together. I truly believe we both would offer everything we have for the other one's life, anything at all, and on her end that she would adamently try to convince him that he does not have to hurt me or rape her to have her. Any my attitude about anything of it would be to please not hurt her however I could convince or make that not happen with the context too. I think it'd like be each of us more for the other one and us together on our side for the goals of life and life together to continue. We've had to stick together for each other before.

More than anything and everything I don't want to lose her or for her and the children to be alone. I want to see them grow up and her and I grow old.

Why else could matter in consideration of the OP horrific senario?
