Should the horrific photos of Newtown victims be published?

Yes
Only if all the parents agree.
No

absolutely one hundred percent **** ****ing **** no.

You mean the ones that show the small bodies dismembered because of repeated hits from the semi-automatic rifle? Nah. We can't have people being upset now, can we?

Meanwhile, back at the ranch:

Boy, 4, accidentally kills Tenn. deputy's wife

This has what to do with Newtown???

Just another one of those heartwarming stories about how guns are used by everyday citizens to protect themselves......oh, wait a minute.....never mind.

I am not sure what you are trying to say

What I'm trying to say here is that by virtue of carrying a weapon capable of multiple shots without the necessity of reloading for a while, the killer was able to shoot small children so many times he actually dismembered some of them. Does that help?

it would be a nightmare for not just the relativers and friends but to anyone who sees this sort of thing....

it's not for public consumption...

respect the dead...

we know this...we do not need to see the victims in this state...

respect their person.

If the relatives and friends approve of it, it should be done. Let people see just how much damage these kinds of weapons can do.

Or respect the sensibilities of those who see no need to regulate these kinds of weapons?

The fact that it was a Sheriff's gun, someone who is supposedly trained in handling weapons shows it doesn't matter who owns a gun they are always dangerous. They are nothing but nightmares waiting to happen for most of us. No wonder less and less of us want to roll those deadly dice.

using these children in this way is not respectful.it's like prostituting them for purpose..no matter how righteous the goal is.

hey i want all guns banned in america...i don't think you as a society is mature enough to allow for such a law as the 2nd amendment to exist.

Wow, did they go out of their way to NOT say what kind of firearm. I doubt it was an AR15, they dare not say what it was.

Here is another example of a gun death that NONE of proposed legislation would have prevented.

I see no need to disrespect the dead that way.

from your conclusion , it's just another example of the madness brought about by the 2nd amendment...

you people are not mature enough to have such a law.

This thread is about photos, not guns. What kinds of cameras are you proposing we ban/register? Should there be an NICS before buying any kind camera, or don't you care if felons photograph your children? Don't you want to do anything about high-capacity paparazzi-style full-auto assault-cameras? Why do you need a fast shutter? Why do you need a 400x optical zoom? Why do you need a detachable high-capacity battery? You don't need 10gigs to photo a deer.

Look at this paperazi-style pistol grip for a camera....

Why do you need that in a school?

I say no.Legally I do not think they should be stopped. But morally those media outlets should have the integrity to not publish those photos. I also think the media should have also have the integrity to not make an instant celeb out of every pathetic loser who shoots up a school.

No it doesn't. How is that relevant to the topic? What does the 2nd story you posted have to do with anything? Are you aware of the thread you are posting in right now?

OMG I just read on the news that teachers in some states are allowed to bring concealed cameras with them to school! What if a child gets a hold of that camera and uses it for internet bullying!?

Sorry I messed up your poll. Misread the question, meant to pick no.

Now read the rest of that post.
Ger we have been this route before and it always ends in pain...

i have a fondness for you and don;t want to ruin it with reality
