I'm a country boy myself. I live in the Texas Hill Country - southwest of Austin. And, I'm pretty content with my life as long as I can control my exposure to the insanities that others choose to participate in.

For those who entertain themselves with watching the bouncing ball set in motion by our government to distract all from the realities that it is engaged in vigorously raping, robbing, and pillaging the good citizens...enjoy it while they can. It's not gonna get better.

In the meanwhile, I'll continue to feed the deer, wild turkey, and enjoy the goings on by all the critters hanging out on the river edge just outside my front door.

Well, these days it's possible to change a definition to suit yourself. In this case, I highly recommend it.

"The Obama administration is engaged in a broad push to make more home loans available to people with weaker credit, an effort that officials say will help power the economic recovery but that skeptics say could open the door to the risky lending that caused the housing crash in the first place.
President Obama’s economic advisers and outside experts say the nation’s much-celebrated housing rebound is leaving too many people behind, including young people looking to buy their first homes and individuals with credit records weakened by the recession.
In response, administration officials say they are working to get banks to lend to a wider range of borrowers by taking advantage of taxpayer-backed programs — including those offered by the Federal Housing Administration — that insure home loans against default."

Obama is doing the same sort of crap that the Republocrats in general have been trying to pull for some time now. The subjugation of the People to the State and its Corporate interests.

    He's crazy.

U.S. military completes initial planning for Syria

"The U.S. military has completed its own planning for how American troops would conduct a variety of operations against Syria, or to assist neighboring countries in the event action was ordered, officials tell CNN."

U.S. military completes initial planning for Syria – CNN Security Clearance - CNN.com Blogs
I think that if the "Mainstream/Progressive" media
(i.e.- CNN,NBC, Rachel Madow, Michael Moore, Amy Goodman, etc.)
were doing their jobs, they would be covering the illegal war
in Syria everyday, just as they covered the Iran-Contra scandal
    everyday back in the 1980's.

If it was illegal for Ronald Reagan, why is it not illegal for President Obama?

Just like Reagan, the Obama Administration secretly started
the war against Syria by arming terrorist jihadis, starting back
    in March 2011.

Censorship of the Report of the League of
    Arab States Mission to Syria

"The report is adamant. There was no organized, lethal repression by the Syrian government against peaceful protesters. Instead, the report points to shady armed gangs as responsible for hundreds of deaths among Syrian civilians, and over one thousand among the Syrian army, using lethal tactics such as bombing of civilian buses, bombing of trains carrying diesel oil, bombing of police buses and bombing of bridges and pipelines."

Asia Times Online :: Exposed: The Arab agenda in Syria
On April 18, 2010, the front page of The Washington Post reported:

“U.S. Provides Secret Backing to Syrian Opposition. Leaked Cables Reveal Funding. “The State Department has secretly financed Syrian political opposition groups and related projects, including a satellite TV channel that beams anti-government programming into the country…Barada TV is closely affiliated with the Movement for Justice and Development, a London-based network of Syrian exiles. Classified US diplomatic cables show that the State Department has funneled as much as $6 million to the group to operate the satellite channel and finance other activities inside Syria…The leaders of Movement for Justice and Development are former members of the Muslim Brotherhood…. Several US diplomatic cables from the embassy in Damascus reveal that the Syrian exiles received money from a State Department program called the ‘Middle East Partnership Initiative.’ According to the cables, the State Department funneled money to the exile group via the Democracy Council, a Los Angeles based non-profit. According to its website, the council sponsors projects in the Middle East, Asia and Latin America to promote the ‘fundamental elements of stable societies.’ The council’s founder and president, James Prince is a former Congressional staff member and investment adviser for Price Waterhouse Cooper…Edgar Vasquez, a State Department spokesman said the Middle East Partnership Initiative has allocated 7.5 million for Syrian programs since 2005. A cable from the embassy in Damascus , however, pegged a much higher total – about $12 million between 2005 and 2010.”

In an odd sort of way...I agree. People have a hard time believing that folks who make it to Washington - are really one big happy family. And despite the political labels...they don't get to Washington by random happenstance via elections. There are major investors behind each and every elected official. And those investors...expect a return on their investments.

You should agree, I'm rarely wrong. Heheh

But it's the emergence of the fascist state. Big brother, State Corporatism, needless "patriotism", infinity war, the development of the new aristocracy, etc. The Republocrats have ALL pushed in this direction.

Hmmmm...well, I think you'd have been 100% right had you added the "Democrooks" along with the Republocrats. But the rest looks fairly accurate.

Republocrats has been my designation for the single political party under which we suffer for some time now.
