Sure it's a civil right, although, try to take mine and you might find that I'm not so civil about it.

The vast majority of us who own guns have never used them, and never will, to commit any act of violence against another human being.

There is no rational basis for accusing us of murdering children just because we own guns.

“Innocent until proven guilty.” Here in the U.S., at least, very, very few of us think that there is any legitimate basis for arresting someone before there's any reason to believe that he has committed a crime. You don't get to arrest someone simply because you think he •might• commit a crime.

What is so "civil" about cutting the bears' arms and putting them to the wall?

If people own guns, they either go nuts/get drunk/get angry and use them or leave them around for other nutters to steal and kill, as you know. Take the guns from the cowboys and save the children. No guns, few murders.

    What pathetic, inane, uninformed trolling.

Won't even bother trying to disabuse you of your preposterous ignorance.

Yep. We should strive to be more like Mexico and make guns very rare in the hands of all but the gov't and their criminal cartel partners.

I voted no - not because I'm anti-2nd Amendment, but because I believe Civil Rights are about deeper things than the choice to own something. Civil Rights are based on gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, et. al. Civil Rights are those rights that make us all equal.

Gun owners, while they have a right to own such property as protected by the Constitution, are not a "class of people". They are people who have chose to take part in the ownership of a certain piece of property.

If you think the right to arms is merely about "owning property," then you just don't understand it at all. If you think the right to arms isn't about "equality," then you just don't understand it at all.

The arms themselves are no more the point than the printing press is for freedom of the press.

I can't comment because left-wing truth is called trolling by others too. I am. however, very far from ignorant, not being American.

Stop consuming the drugs that cause Mexico's problems. But I expect that is trolling! Most things I say are, apparently.
