What's the Tea Party?
other - please explain
The media relently villified old white people as ignorant bigots, Obama severely retaliated against old people in general opposing him via ObamaCare, and while the words "Tea Party" have mostly been abandoned, I suspect the actual real attitudes behind it have hardened due to hate for hate as human nature.
The winner is corporate America and international corporations via their shill in Obama himself. The "Tea Party" personalities offse the liberals and visa versa, for which then corporation czars hold the balance of power - something Obama figured. The core of the Tea Party is the Mom-Pop mechant class people, for which Obama is crushing small business on behalf of mega corporations.
The "Tea Party" as an entity doesn't exist much anymore, but the relentless villification of the people of if (old people primarily in small business) has generated permanent counter hatred. In that regards, the "Tea Party" people are more influential than ever - but at the local, state and regional level. Obama has successfully created hate-level divisions that will exist long after he's gone. Governance is increasingly diametric opposite, no compromise hate battles.
Contrary to the national media declaring only the federal government is relevant to anything, local and state government still often affects people more.
Nor is it just about how people feel. Even down to the individual level, increasingly even people in government openly defy other aspects of government and of law. For example, while state FWC (fish & wildlife) used to also enforce federal statutes, now we openly don't give a damn what federal regulations and rules are. Let them enforce their own rules and laws since we're not part of the process anyway.
As an organization is the Tea Party as relevant? No. In terms of individuals? More power than it was.
They played themselves out!!
Early voting in Georgia. On the 20th of October this old Goldwater conservative voted against both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton by casting my vote for Gary Johnson. Neither Trump or Clinton belong within a million miles of the Oval Office.
I'm wondering if impetus will be regained as the realities of "Obamacare" sink in.
No it is about stupid ideas endorsed by the TP. For example: Mourdock added: "I just struggled with it myself for a long time but I came to realize: Life is that gift from God that I think even if life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen. Richard Mourdock under fire for rape remarks - POLITICO.com No, that is not partisan hackery, it is pointing out stupidity when you see it. Partisan hackery is still voting for a dummy like that, which by the way, most partisan hacks did.
God Bless the Marine Corps.
I meant nationally.
