She's probably having a menopausal episode. Excessive or otherwise out of balance hormones have an effect on consciousness that simulates drunkenness.
 
It is possible one reason the put on Palin is because how much she gets under the skin of liberals merely by her existence. The POWER she exhibits over liberals is incredible!

Let me simplify it for you.

1)Vapid, unqualified troll enters politics, is touted as being a skilled state leader in the face of all objective, past and observable evidence to the contrary.
2)Democrats lose their crap because they just can't believe that our national discourse and expectations have lowered so much that the thought of something like Palin could be entertained for even a minute.
3)Conservatives: lulz.
4)Repeat.

What too many people think about in regards to Palin is her getting under their sheets.
