Putting Corporations in their place.

Is today's CORPORATISM any different from King George III?

I believe in separation of corporation and state!

I am happy if companies/corporations can do well ... when they start legislating, buying elections, poisoning and bankrupting citizens by manipulating laws and violate basic human ethics or manipulating markets that destroy the middle class that is where I have serious issues.

If that's true, then why haven't liberals fought for campaign finance reform? That's all it would take, after all.
While I'm sure that some have tried, going against an entrenched hegemony is insanely difficult. And really, this really shouldn't be a partisan issue.

Really? So you're fine with corporations making as much money as legally possible?
Why would anyone be against corporations making as much money as legally possible? That's like being against fire burning everything it comes into contact with. Both are amoral and simply follow their natures...which is why "legally possible" needs a good long look with candid political discussion, because too many people are getting burned.

So the King would have to go on strike to get a better deal from the unions and his family would go hungry too.
Perfect symmetry.

One must acknowledge that King George gave approval for the Royal Bank of England to fund expeditions, etc. to develop the Americas. I do not see much change. For example; how much difference is the Bank of England today and maybe JPMorganChase or B of A. Too big to fail translates to having strong political power. Do the banks control our Nation??? That's a serious question and are they any different from King George's Bank?

All businesses want to control the nation. Many churches want to control the nation to get us aligned with the correct God etc. Banks are among the best at controlling for their profit, especially for the CEO types, but banks are not yet in complete control. Is your water company too big to fail?

The Federal Reserve Bank CORPORATION does seem to have complete control. Is there a Reserve Bank of Reserve Banks and how do these banks function on International scales regarding currency controls and World Reserve Currency?
