Leave the "usable daylight" at the end of the day and leave the darkness at the beginning of the day.
I care not-but at some point the DST zone runs into another country's zone

Leave the time alone. You get no more daylight with one or the other. Since different people work at different time it makes no sense to say people get an extra hour of daylight in the evening to do things. People who work midnights or afternoons do not benefit. So leave the friggin time alone, I hate it! :Nuff said!

    It's about "usable daylight".

The majority of people would benefit from the extra hour at the end of the day. Majority.

People who work afternoons or midnight tend to be criminals and other societal outcasts. The good guys work 9 to 5 and need that extra hour of day;light in order to maintain.

Compromise..move the time ahead 30 minutes and then never move it again..

Tell that to all the doctors and nurses who work those hours along with all the staff that works with them also. Tell that to all the waitress' and cooks, bartenders, janitors, truck drivers, cabbies, and paramedics too. I hope it was just a bit of whimsy on your part.

I thought the presence of Vampire Cat might give you the idea that a bit of humor was involved.

Humor or not, I prefer DST and if millions must suffer so I can relish its presence, so be it. To the best of my knowledge and belief, I am the single most important person in the universe.

Woops, there goes another million kilowatt dam.
