No, seriously, reread what you wrote. It's a halfbeat away from illiterate.

Try to remember that we only have what you write to go off. We can't supplement it with the voices in your head.

When I think about how confounding it is to watch their shows legally, and that Game of Thrones is the most illegally downloaded show ever, all I can think of is Star Wars: "The more you tighten your grip, Tarkin, the more star systems will slip through your fingers."

I did. Makes perfect sense. Treat music like we treat radio and TV shows, not as the end product itself. The purpose of radio and TV shows is to attract an audience, to generate ratings, which is then used to sell advertisement time. The radio or TV show is not the money maker, the product sold in the commercial is. Likewise the music should not be treated like the money maker, it should be used to attract an audience, and then advertisement to that audience can be sold. Pretty easy to understand.

Unless the music is the final product.

The anti-pirate crowd and I aren't concerned about the same things. They will go off about theft and rights and money, whereas I just don't want the hassle.

    Luna, another good one, Tick
I think that the copyright law time frame can be improved upon...
If a man creates a song when young, he should benefit until he and or his wife pass on....even 75 years later....or a century....we live longer....and definitely need the money then...
Also, as an option, he should be able to public domain his works as he sees fit.
I doubt if our Constitution has anything to say about this, when it was designed, patents, public domain , song writing, and the INTERNET were in their infancy.
