I buy the CDs and upload them to my mp3 player. My mp3 player usually stays in my car, hooked up to a usb port in my center console. It's cool - there are no wires scattered all over the car. Just straight hooked up in my console, and then the songs show up on the screen on my dash, and I just scroll through the folders on my mp3 player. Technology is making things so much easier.

I seriously doubt there is much of a difference. But i guess if i had piddled my money away on a stack of Blu Rays, I'd also want to feel good about that.
I've had much better luck with physical media than I had with files, from encoding the files myself to having them last. The difference is certainly there.

On the contrary, I know the inevitable was of the process. I was an early adopter of both bluray and hd-dvd.

    So that's...$11,900.

    Worth it!

This is my first and I love it. It's one of the reasons I bought this particular car. It had lots of goodies, and that was one of them. Hated the color, but loved the goodies.

I refused to buy either until a format was decided upon. I wanted to, and honestly thought HD-DVD was going to win. But all the theaters kept going Bluray so when they won, I started buying Bluray.

I still think HD-DVD's menu system was better, but the format had clear weaknesses. I am still in the middle with the Blu-ray spec being unfinished.

Never used an HD-DVD, so I don't know how much better they were. Wasn't brave enough to play the odds.

We Should cut back on the copyright when the owners of such is a corporation. As quoted by others here the Constitution says Congress can give to the inventors and creators of works a time to benefit from their efforts but that should not be measured in centuries.
