Re: Should willfully ignorant people be allowed to vote

I would submit that people who endorse this idea are the ones who are willfully ignorant. The others we think we're talking about are simply just ignorant.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

Need a national voting test. Start administering in high school. Take it until you pass or grow weary. Available at sites
other then schools. Computer shuffle answers, basic like the three branches of government and their relationships.
    Who would object?

I don't think anyone should be allowed to cast a vote who has no clue on the issues........

And as a proud member of the party of small government, I'm sure you trust the government to decide on that particular standard, right?
He touched her over her bra and underpants, she says, and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear

I have seen the man on the street interviews where the person was asked to identify the candidate and the person could not do it. That kind of a voter is a danger to this country... I have also seen cases where the person interviewed had no clue where the candidate stood on the issues..........It is obvious those things mean nothing to you.

The person does not have to be a rocket scientist but for Gods sake know who the candidates are and where they stand on the issues........
