Those little Clydesdale's are ponies compared to some of the Belgians around these parts!

    I'm just curious.
Sure. I feel empowered if I am put into a situation where I am confronted by someone with ill intent. Same with my martial arts training. Is that a bad thing?

Does it change my personality and make me a road raging jerk who feels like I can get anything I want? No. I am actually a much nicer person.

I think the question is 100% dumb. And word choice makes it clearly a left-wing sort of question...

Empowered? That is such the wrong word, but of course the whole idea is to get those that support CC and such to say 'yes', then the words can be used for a great twist...

Being empowered does not have to have a negative or sinister connotation. If my car breaks down in a bad neighborhood, I would feel 'empowered' to walk to a gas station or well lit area if I needed to. I understand the 'twist' you are talking about though.

Unlike an insurance policy a gun requires some training and practice to make effective use of it.
Given how complicated some insurance can get one might need some training for that.

If it makes you feel better, my comment was intended to mock the OP. That I knew it would get some gun nuts panties in a wad just made it funnier.

What do you mean by empowered?
