There is a good chance he is running in 2016. Would you vote for him?

Depends on whom he's running against and how far the Democrats get with this moronic gun control push.

Hell to the no. He is nothing like his father.

Lets say it is Hillary.

Last year, I would have said "yes" without reservations. I wanted Hillary in 2008. After this Benghazi charlie-foxtrot, I'm not so sure.

Paul leans too libertarian for my tastes, and where he's more conservative is on the wrong issues.

I think Paul's dad is politically insane, I fear that it may have rubbed off on his son.

I also was a big fan of Hillary until this Bengazi stuff. If she were to run against Paul I may just not vote. It would be like shooting myself in the left foot or the right foot.

I don't have a vote but don't you think it's about time that America got serious about picking the people who lead your country? In a country of 330 million people, is this the best you've got?

If he were the choice were Paul and the local gas station mechanic was the other candidate, the guy with the greasy hands and the name tag that says CLEM on it in script would get my vote.

You need to look at his position on the issues........You might be surprised.

I would most likely not vote for him in the primary against pretty much any Republican. I certainly have some reservations against some of his policies. In the general, it would depend on his opponent. If it were a strongly liberal candidate, I would probably vote for Paul. If it was someone like Hillary Clinton, I probably wouldn't vote for either candidate. And if it was a conservative Democrat like Jay Nixon, I could see myself possibly voting her him over Rand Paul.

To quote a poll posted previously today - do you vote for ideological purity or electability?

Rand Paul is unelectable even among Republicans outside of Kentucky and rightly or wrongly has already developed a reputation as being even nuttier than his father.

There is no power on the outside, only on the inside - it is useless to continue to bitch and moan about Democrats in government if you don't put up any credible Republican alternatives.

Tea Party guy, yep, I think he should run. I think the Republicans lost this election because they were not conservative enough.

I'd vote the **** out of him. I really hope he runs. He's got the ideology of his father but better at PR.

Yep, some people would rather have absolutely anybody as long as they aren't for individual freedom and personal responsibility.

He's for dangerous foreign policy, and horrible domestic policy. It has nothing to do with freedom, or personal responsibility, it's about bad ideas.

It's dangerous to suggest that we are in fact not the world police and shouldn't have over a hundred military bases worldwide?

It's bad domestic policy to suggest that what you earn is yours, that you can rule your life better than a politician, and that we should at least attempt to manage our debt?

No thanks. I'd vote for the Democrats first.

First response............. No, but, it all depends on Who he is running against in the primary and their platform,
Colin Powell, who IMO is a RINO- yes,
Condy Rice ...... Rice gets the vote" so it just depends, tho I would vote him over Hillary any day: Now', tho I voted for Hillary In 2008
