    I don't have a problem with polygamy.
I do have a problem with the age, however the appropriate age of marriage is a social norm issue. The general belief in academic circles puts Mary at 12 when she had Jesus, so....What ya trying to say about the Big Guy,eh?
Check out the history of how its done in Northern Arizona. You are thinking they have a choice, i.e. they can say "No.", but that option is not available.
Oh, what Big Guy, the one in Arizona?

Obviously no one is condoning forced marriages nor are they condoning under age marriages. These two for instances go on now. There is nothing to suggest turning the government into a registry for marriage would some how make age of consent laws any less meaningful. Forced marriages, well, I don't know how you can do that anyhow, but I'm certain changing the role of government isn't going to have an impact on it in any way.

For the sake of any children, yes.

Picked no, but it shouldn't be involved in registry either. There should be no government influence in any marriage whether it be straight, gay, or otherwise.
I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

Well, the registry is for property rights not marriage rights so there isn't really influence.
